Pretty close but not like in and out or anything.
Hit the front of the rim

It was out of rhythm, in a broken play. We kind of knew when he shot it that chances weren't very good. Hood is really good when he just plays and reacts, but not as great when he thinks.

I thought it was going in

When you catch the ball with 4 seconds left and you are staring down Kahwi Leonard you take whatever shot you can get off.

Quin has to draw up better plays in those situations. It was not the first time Hood tried that type of difficult shot in the final play, he did a similar shot against Golden State last December. In my opinion it was better to put Favors and give him the ball in low post and hoping he converts an easy two.

Hayward and Hood they can't always create their own shot down the stretch. I would prefer they move the ball quickly and find an open man down the stretch too.

When you're playing teams the caliber of the Warriors or Spurs, my belief is that you have to go for the win. If you give these types of superior teams another 5 minutes to readjust/settle down, they will almost always come out ahead. You have to go for the kill, and live or die with the results.

I agree. I was all form them shooting the 3 for the win. Wish they could have got a better shot, but like you said with 4 seconds it's not that easy.

Yup, this exactly. Especially with San Antonio with all the vet leadership. It's hard to shake them up.

Or just play well in OT. Wolves did it to the Warriors.

The big thing, IMO, is who has momentum. If we would have gone to OT we would have had momentum since we just pulled off a huge 4th quarter comeback.

In the Warriors game we lost, the Warriors had momentum since we threw the game away and we allowed them to tie.
