Quin is too intense way too often imo. I think that was a knock on him by players from the d-league team he coached. Maybe I'm wrong but I think I recall reading that he wore on them by year two.

You've got to be kidding me. The players love him. They gloat about him in interviews the way they never did about Ty. During free throws they look over at him and exchange words or smiles. It's happened like 3x this game with different players. And any time there's a stupid ****-up, usually by Kanter, they look at Quin and he's nothing but encouraging.

Snyder's intensity but generosity with his players is exactly what we need. A focus on development, but high expectations.
