Game Thread: Jazz at Raptors, any minute now

So you're going to go with Quinn and put Rubio (who can't shoot), Donovan (who can't shoot), Ingles (who couldn't shoot the whole night), Jae (who played great), and Gobert (who can't shoot) to end the game also? Leonard already had a career night against Joe so why not put Korver in who shoots better than Joe?

In crunch time DM has it so much in iso I think you have to max out your spacing. Don’t think Rubio for Korver works but you could put joe on the beat perimeter player and usually there be somewhere to hide Korver.

Did anyone really expect this game to be a win? I thought we were going to get run... then Kawhi goes off and we shoot crooked (except Jae)... I was shocked we were even close.

I thought we were competitive most of the night and had a chance to steal it. 3rd quarter was the real killer, can't give up 44 in 1 quarter.

Yup. It's my opinion and I'm entitled to it. At that point we were in a close game against the Raps in their home floor. We had a chance to win with those players.

I would rather have Ingles at the end of a close game due to his ability to defend and run the offense at a high level. Maybe stretch the floor with him and Korver but Crowder was playing great. And in that regard, Korver wasn't burning the net last night. He was defended pretty well by the Raps the whole night.

There were two occasions last night where Rudy tried to back a player down. One time it worked on a mismatch and I believe the other time he got to the line. I sincerely hope he can work this into his repertoire in the future. It shows that he is continuing to work on all facets of his game.
I think it was against D.Green and Powell. Yeah, he looked good.

Rubio was pretty garbage defensively in the first half, particularly the 1st quarter where he just looked slow. He looked vastly better on that end in the 2nd half so I think he wasn't playing hard in his first game back from that knee injury in the 1st half.
I didn't watch the first 6 minutes of the game but other than that, he was fine in my opinion. Yeah, maybe he was tentative in those minutes.

TBH without Lowry and Valanciunas I expected us to have a chance. Full strenght and at their place, I'd say odds would have been stacked heavily against us.
