Why is Trey Burke leading the team in FGA again...
Yep. That one shot he had to take. Other than that, he's dribbling into traffic with no clue what to do.Trey Burke is so annoying.
We would be so much better with a better point guard. Damn he is terrible.
Rudy is playing like he's coming for someone's job. We have an interesting dilemma. Who's he going to replace? He has to start soon, right? Next year?
Even before that if you ask me. He's the one who shows that he wants to win the most.
Teams give Burke all the space in the world to get a shot off. What do you expect him to do? Pass up a wide open shot? Any NBA guard would have to take those shots. He just happens to really suck at it.
Have you seen Payton play? I feel like if Trey decided to play like him and absolutely refuse to shoot 3s and long 2s, even if wide open, that would help him be much more effective and he'd actually be looking for better opportunities to set up his teammates instead of looking to get his shot off.
He replaces Kanter. Gobert/Favors lineup actually came back a bit until no one could hit shots on the other end. For all this talk about Kanter, Favors just comes in and gets the job done.Rudy is playing like he's coming for someone's job. We have an interesting dilemma. Who's he going to replace? Because people are passing him the ball in positions where he has to shoot.
Payton is that long and athletic Orlando guard? Trey attacking the rim is a skill that he just "added" this year. If he does not take long shots, he will absolutely fail at the driving game. Defenses will know he's not taking the shot, and will be ready for his slow and stunted penetration attempt.
