The Jazz offense is so easy to figure out.
If Hayward has the ball, collapse on him because he most likely won't pass.
If Burks has the ball, definitely collapse on him because he rarely passes.
If Burke has the ball, let him shoot because he'll miss.
So basically our offense now depends on Kanter, Favors, Hood, Exum, and sadly Ingles.
Kanter is up and down on offense. He has a monster game some days, and is just off on other nights. He is consistent, however, doing one thing: playing bad defense.
We don't really go through Favors as much as we should.
I like Hood's game, but he's not good enough yet to make that kind of impact.
Exum could make a significant impact if given the freedom, which probably would involve a lot of turnovers initially. But all that is a moot point because he's not given that much freedom.
And depending on Ingles for points is basically a death wish.
So basically we're screwed no matter what.
Given that I would like:
1) Exum to be given a lot more playing time. All the great point guards playing today were given a ton of minutes in there first season. I don't care if Exum is 19 years old. At the moment he's our best hope for a bright future.
2) Play Hood more. Hood gels with basically any lineup. Also, more Hood means less Ingles and to some extent less Burks.
3) Go through Favors more often.
