I got home from work at about 7 and decided to not even take a look at this game (had it recording, gonna delete)

Did the jazz try pick n roll after pick n roll involving big al?

They should have
 
The Jazz looked really tired and lethargic. Pick n roll was barely used despite Big Al standing there looking all exploitable. Wasn't really a game worth watching if you haven't already.
 
Not enough pick n' roll against Al. Alema asking Thurl Bailey how would Hayward look in a Hornets uni. I say better then ever. If there's anything that we should have learned by now is that your 'max' player needs to be who you really think is going to be your #1 guy, your go-to guy, the basketball player you want to build the rest of your team around. I might end up having to swallow my own words and will gladly do so if I'm wrong but I don't think I'm the only one that feels that we haven't found a real 'threatening' player. Someone who makes the opponents fans think oh crap, he's got the ball, 80% chance it's going in.

We've got a long ways if we're talking winning a championship fellas. FO messing with our heads.

Hayward has been worth every penny. I'm surprised there are some out there who still question this!

Even without the massive salary cap increase coming soon, Hayward was worth it. With the salary cap increase, he's an absolute bargain.

Not to mention it's not like the Jazz were going to otherwise use that cap space to lure a superstar to Utah.
 
It couldn't have been that bad if you guys only managed 8 pages for the game thread. Team is still young. Still have a rookie head coach. Still need another starting wing and a PG better than Burke. And they are on their 4th game in 5 days. They were tired. Still love Rudy. Quickly becoming my favorite player on the team. Strait up beast!

I hope it was Snyder rewarding a guy for playing hard. But it was also a blowout so extra burn for Dante and Trevor too. Booker hasn't been impressive lately.
 
Does anyone know how Novak has lasted this long in the NBA? Completely clueless on defense, I know he used to be a deadly shooter but I honestly can't see how his offense could ever make up for his defensive ineptitude. He needs to be taken behind the barn and put out of his misery, or whatever the NBA equivalent of that is. And no, grammar nazis, I don't care about ending a sentence with "is."

And his defense was terrible to start the game. My faith in Rudy is constant, but I keep waffling between Kanter and Favors. IMO, Derrick is more consistent, and a better overall player. Kanter has more potential, but will he ever get there defensively?
 
I cant believe how hard the Hornets were playing. They were going all out. We just couldn't match their energy, and we missed too many shots. I wanted to punch Big Al at least two times during the game.
 
I love Big Al's pump fake. Might be the best pump fake in the history of basketball.

Surprise, surprise...there's now a report Lance has been clashing with his new teammates, just as he did in Indiana.
And some of the fools on this board wanted Utah to sign Stephenson instead of Hayward. Lance isn't worth even 1/4 of what Gordon is getting. I wouldn't even take Lance on a vet minimum deal. The guy is a cancer.
 
can now see why hornets gave hayward the max offer. They really could have used him.

He would have been a really good fit there.
