Game thread - Jazz vs. Clippers 30 Oct 2019: "Kawhi Leonard Out Tonight?"

Woa, curry broke his hand.

Next up we got the kings, who are 0-4, either they will fold and lay down or come in like a blood starved beast.

They have to be hungry for a W.

We play them in 3 weeks. Jazz getting some lucky "breaks" here early on.

I actually like how the refs are calling traveling now. I hate how they’re calling fouls. It’s really killing the game.
They still missed two blatant travels, one on Conley and one on Robinson dunk ( dude literally made 4 steps before dunking it and nobody even said a thing).

Yeah their crack down on travels is so far very inconsistent. That Conley touch pass was no travel. And maybe half of the foot shuffling travels were garbage too, on both sides. And watching highlights they continue to allow harden to just walk wherever the **** he wants. It's beyond ridiculous.

And they need to capitalize on them. I'm as eager as anyone to see how the Jazz measure up to the elite competition, but only when they're ready (we also already saw one of those games, and it was a disaster). It's gonna take at least a few weeks to build the chemistry and consistency, but in the meantime I will take every single W in every single circumstance.

Jazz play GSW a week from Monday as well.

And I'm starting to think Embiid will miss Wednesday's game. I really didn't think the fight with KAT was too crazy but the WWE **** Embiid was pulling after the fight and last night and this morning on Twitter - he's just begging to be made an example of by the league.

Not sure which one you are talking but the one he made on fast break ( around 50 sec in the video) he did definitely travel, took at least 4 if not 5 steps before passing it to Bogdanovic for a dunk.

I agree. Last year the Jazz had a pretty difficult schedule to start the year and it took a long time for them to work through things and work on more than just surviving the schedule. If we had started this season with a brutal schedule we'd have a hard time integrating the new guys. Jazz are having a little luck go their way so far and they need it.

Not that one. It was in the 2nd half (other end of the court). Conley barely caught the ball and passed it really without ever having possession and they called traveling on him.

oh, I remember that... yeah I was talking about travels not called.

No it was in the 3rd quarter I think and passed it for an open 3.

Yeah this. He might have had both feet touch the floor and passed it off to Bojan

Well, Bog was out, and we looked like the core4 jazz making the dumbest mistakes ever. Also, Conley was still in his funk.

The travel they called on him did not look like a travel. I see so many travels and offensives fouls in the NBA that aren't called it's ridiculous, but the Jazz get called for them when they aren't there.
