Game Thread? Jazz @ Warriors. 2nd Round. 1st Game. (8:30 MT 5/2/17)

Jazz were good enough to get past the first round, but not having a second go-to scorer besides Hayward will hurt in this round. The injuries to Favors and regression of Hood are going to catch up to them. Also, Jazz should make a move at the deadline every year until Gobert retires. Prove you want to win at the front office level and it will trickle down.
 
If we keep attacking the paint and get the fouls to rack up we can keep the tempo slowed and get back into it at the foul line. Stop settling for contested jumpers.

Exum has not been trash in the playoffs. At all.

This. Time to develop Exum because Mack is gone in the off-season and he's doing terrible out there.

This. ^^^

Also helps if they can get any of their stars (hopefully more than one of them) into foul trouble. Scratch and claw your way through this game. Jazz have to control pace or it's no chance for them. They can't match them shot to shot. Have to play strong, physical defense and keep the game close.
