What's new

Game Thread: Suns @ Jazz 7PM MT Friday

Burke needs to go under the screen and let Dragic shoot. He's getting caught on screens and Dragic is getting in the lane every time.

Why not ice and fight over the top if you cannot? Still forces him to shoot but doesn't let him re-screen as easily.

But haven't you heard? It's the players' fault. They just have no talent. Unlike those Phoenix Suns...

haha yes, because their is no talent around haha. It is the players fault that two 6.11 Big-Man who are able to shoot, can not play together. Thats the palyers fault that Corbin is pushing players like richard Jefferson and John Lucas more than their real talents. Oh man, if this team was losing so badly, then because of players like Jefferson, Lucas and Mike Harris shooting like 20 percent from the 3 combined, most of them wide open.

Dragic drew 2 fouls on Trey and turned the Jazz in to 2nd unit trash. He is by far the best player on the court so calm that **** down, Siro.

The point is, are we really getting the most we can get from these players (the same way the Suns are)? If not, then why not? We should answer that question before we get all excited about any future draft picks.

how can R.Jefferson plays 17 mins? is he 20 years old? or i dont know that will he be utah's future star? wowww woww woww enes kanter lost 2 years for a nothing he coulnt development because corbin doesnt like him this is my opinion

thats what i have been saying.

**** tanking.
we need to develop our current lottery picks

Wasn't 90% of it on them running off missed shots?

Definitely not from my recollection

We were in this until Trey went out and the Jazz couldn't do **** on offense. No balance, no threat = run, run, run.

51 points in a half is more than good enough for this team, particularly when taking into account that Burke was out so early. Game definitely changed when Burke checked out-- but our defensive breakdowns (and **** help-D) was prevalent even when Burke was in. I don't think we stopped Markieff a single time. Dragic is ****ting on us. We are letting their penetration get wide-open looks for the likes of Plumlee.

Just bad defense all around.

The Suns have Dragic. Let's quantify "the same way the Suns are" before comparing the two incorrectly. Dude has been playing at an All Star level, and the Suns have a perfect roster to complement his penetration. They have 5-6 great 3 point shooters, 4 of them bigs.

Same. I'm not cool with this team winning <20 games this season. Flame away, tank-lovers.

Kanter needed to play like 20 minutes in his first, 25 in his second and starter minutes now in his third year. But despite that he just got his crappy, programmed scrub minutes, where he was benched every time he did a mistake. I can remeber games were Kanter had like 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks but just played 18 minutes...
He has not got enough PT and he was also not even able to EARN his playing time by producing on the court.
Now in his first starts after coming from injury, it was clear that he will struggle in time. But despite of developing Kanter we are trying to develop Marvin Williams now.

My key to the game all day has been stop Dragic going left or die. He's been that good at creating shots out of penetration. I'm not surprised about this defense when Dragic has not been stopped left.

Phoenix are ****ing money from mid range

I always kinda dismissed people when they would say things like "oh we can get hornacek to work on his shot he'll be fine". but maybe there really is something to that

Tre burke had the slowest first step in basketball drogic is killing him

you're absolutely right

Can someone tell me when Marvin learned how to penetrate with the ball?
