Game thread: The allure of John Amaechi — Utah @ Detroit 3/7/20 5 pm

W is a W but Ingles has been getting on my nerves a lot lately. Gets into the game with 2 minutes left and immediately passes up an open 3 which leads to Bogey into traffic and TO.

Bogey still has those turnovers when he dribbles in the traffic but his effort level has risen considerably. He is always after rebounds and rotations. Even though he still struggles with those, it makes a difference.

Solid 4 game road trip but this team still has some kinks to iron out. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of time left.
I think we're alright, we just suck in back to backs. I'm more concerned about playoff matchups, mostly involving the Lakers which would be a second or third round affair I imagine.

This was a solid win. The Pistons are undermanned but they played hard, and it was the second night of a back-to-back at the end of a four game trip.

I wish we could find an upgrade for Niang's minutes. His shooting is nice, but he just doesn't do enough other things to be consistently reliable.

Jeff Green had 20 for the Rockets tonight.

“Who’s this Wood guy? I’d like to get him in SLC and see how he looks with the Stars.”

In a few years he could be our backup 5... if TB were to get a max contract offer.

After 3 dribbles he should always shoot... only bad things happen when he dribbles and passes.
