What's new

Game thread? The pesky t wolves vs jazz. Saturday. 6pm.

I'm probably the stupidest jazzfan in the history of jazzfanz.

At 4 min remaining I turned this game off and deleted my recording.

In 1997 I left the room with a few minutes left in the Jazz Western Conference Championship playoff game because I felt the Jazz got a BS call against them and that it would cost them the game against the Rockets. I went down to my bedroom to pout and heard my father, my mother and my future wife (who stayed upstairs to watch the game) lose their **** when Stockton hit "the shot" to send the Utah Jazz to the Finals.

I'm probably the stupidest Jazz fan to ever fan.

Did you turn off before the Sundiata Gaines shot as well? I was at the game and can't believe half the arena left. Best in person Jazz moment of my life.

U crazy bruh the momentum already had swung at that point lol.

Late in the 3rd the Wolves appeared to be on pace for 100points, once the Jazz slowed that pace down I knew they were live, or at least Hill wasn't gonna let them go quietly

I was working nights at the time (6pm - 6am) and recorded that game. I was able to avoid spoilers and watch the recording when I got home at 7am. For that game I executed spoiler prevention protocol #1. During the playoffs, when the Jazz used to make the playoffs, I was going home from my 6pm - 6am shift, stopped to grab a couple tallboys (I've never called them that but a friend at work does and it fits, so here it is) and I told the teller I had the pivotal playoff game recorded. this was one of those dumb situations where I got to the gas station at about 6:58. I can't buy beer until 7am. I mean I've been working for 12.5 hrs at this point, and I just want to get home and watch my recording of the Jazz game. So as I'm finalizing the transaction I feel like a I'm looking like a slimeball because I'm buying beer as soon as it's available for sale in the morning, so I tell the clerk I just got off work and I'm going home to watch the game. He says "You're going to go watch the Jazz game?" Takes a half-step back. Me, "Yeah." Clerk, "Oh." Turns their head away and looks down.

I go home. I watch the Jazz get eliminated by the Spurs.

I hate spoilers.

Lots of stuff to like out there tonight.

Zach Lavine makes me sad though.

Nah, he was the Pacer's best player when PG was injured. Lots of people knew he would be really good in Utah. He's just not flashy and doesn't put up sexy numbers offensively, so he goes under the radar.

Everything about him is sexy... u shut your whore mouth.

for those bitching about hayward's "off night", he still scored 16 points on 13 shots (1.23 pps), which is above league average... not to mention he did a **** ton off the ball, defending and playmaking.

He also took his normal share of complete BS non calls. I had no problem with his game tonight. Hood is trending in an awful direction... he will get it back doe.

I knew that if anyone was going to blow that lead it was The Wolves. I've watched quite a few of their games this year on league pass and I'm blown away at how good they are at finding ways to lose. #tanking
