Game Thread: Us vs. Wolves

I haven't read any of the thread, will after this post BUT.

If this whole game thread isn't WHY IN THE HELL IS BOOKER PLAYING SOOOOOOOOOOO MANY MINUTES and HOW CAN ONE PLAYER (booker) PLAY SO BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD, then I don't know what is wrong with the rest of you.

I had the neighbors call my house asking if everything was ok I was yelling so loud at Booker. I don't know if he gets credited for all the TO's he had but he was responsible for 6 and 2 was on FASTBREAKS (another he ruined by poor spacing) he then was at 1/6 ON LAY UPS and 0/2 on FT's.

I don't care if he had a ton of rebounds he was a net negative, and then he plays almost the whole 2nd half and by the end of the 3rd QTR and most of the 4th he didn't have the one thing he does do which is energy cause he's played too many consecutive minutes and wasn't able to rebound either.

God Damnit Snyder is your head so far up your own *** that you can't see this? **** You! I would ask do you have to open your mouth can you so you can see but your head has to be so far up your own *** that it now coming out your own throat and back up your *** again, it's like an infinite loop of head up your *** when it comes to Booker. I was hoping Booker would have some self respect if not for him for the team and sit himself on the bench for the love of Christ.

I agree 100% with you. I just hope Quin will not push to keep Booker next season, it seems like he is one of his favourite players on the team.

i think anyone looking to massacre hayward is being misguided. like our 2nd best player is jeff withey. i don't know what else we can do, we are very bad right now, our roster is very bad. its not like the offense was designed and practiced throughout preseason and season with booker and withey playing 30 minutes a game and chris "right corner brick" johnson playing 15. We're depleted, we have to scrape out wins and see what happens. WE have a huge week with 3 mediocre teams coming in. With favors we have a good shot to win any of them, without favors we have a low shot to win even one.

Raul Neto
Rodney Hood
xxxxx
Trevor Booker
Jeff Withey

look at this. this is a terrible lineup. maybe with durant or lebron this team goes .400. Anyone besides 2 of the 3 best players in the league and there's no way in hell. I'm not sure what else to expect. it sucks. but we've just been ****ed by the luck stick.

Troll on? I just said the truth, Hayward has been disappointing tonight, deal with it!

Hayward was getting smothered. It's not a coincidence Hood got so many open 3's; their plan was to make the 30% 3 point shooter beat them and it worked. That plan will always work unless you have Lebron James or Kevin Durant that can score over anyone. Go check out how Klay Thompson and Draymond Green shot tonight without their superstar to draw the defense. Let us know what their numbers were. Simple enough task even for you.

Booker had a billion rebounds

Yeah some of them were trying to tip in his own missed shots and overall both teams sucked shooting so there were lots of rebounds to be had, could Withey or Pleiss not get most of those same rebounds? I kept telling myself he was rebounding so that can be the only reason but then he got tired stopped rebounding and then much like the last two 4th Qtrs his defense starts to suffer and the other teams offense looks great.

I'm not blaming the loss on him maybe if Withey, Pleiss and Lyles got some of his minutes maybe they all suck just as bad and play like **** but guess what at least it is a taller piece of **** playing C and at least I would see that something else was tried then what I already knew was going to happen.

Seriously in the first half when Booker started the fast break (off of a tipped/deflected ball he came up with) I said "great here comes a turnover" and sure enough he through it out of bounds overthrowing an open Hayward for an easy pass.

With injuries I understand he will need to get more minutes BUT you still have to play players to their strengths and set them up to succeed and not fail, playing Booker that many minutes period is to his detriment, playing him almost any minutes at C again is setting him up to fail not succeed.

I'm trying to calm down as like everyone you get emotional watching the game but talking about it is pissing me off all over again.

As bad as Mini is guess what, when the Jazz left them WIDE open they hit most of them (Rubio had 2, Prince had 2 for example) Jazz had ssssssssssssoooooooooooooooooooooooo many of those same WIDE open shots and Hood, CJ, Millsap, Neto missed all or almost all of theirs (Booker should be added but he's to afraid to take them and lead to TO's or a desperation shot for someone else).

Ian Clark scores 21 pts! He was Golden State's leading scorer!

Wasn't he on our roster a year or two ago?

Good thing we are stacked already at the 1 and 2...

Until we get some players back, expect losses.

This roster was one of the worst offensive teams even when healthy. Now? It's essentially Hayward playing 1 on 5. Maybe LeBron could run this offense?

I'm all for players getting paid but I hope this game (and others like it) are used to show why some players can't be paid as much as they may ask, because they need to be able to bring in and pay other players because clearly no one player on this roster can carry a team. This team needs and takes a team to win so they need to get paid maybe just under what they think they should, well if they want to be on this team and want it to be a winning team.

So depressing

By far the most dissapointing thing this season, besides the injuries, has been Rodney Hood. God damn. I mean, I expect Neto and Lyles to brick open 3's most of the time, but Hood has been unreal in that category this season.

lol, look at those percentages.... and damn nearly half of our shots were 3-pointers? Glad I didn't watch this one. Gonna get goddamn ugly for this next stretch of games. ****.

Felt like the Jazz sleptwalked through the majority of the game. Injuries or not, that type of overall effort is unacceptable.

dude did you even watch the game ?? there is no question the effort was there, the guys played hard all night but were fighting a severe case of a lack of skill The stuff they ran got them plenty of open good looks, just bricked the majority of them

To be fair, DL was put in a tough situation. We really needed to upgrade this roster. Anyone who thought we could be a title contender via internal progression was nuts. However, to be fair to DL what and how you upgrade this roster was tough since there were-still are so many unknowns. For example, we needed/still need a PG and 3 pt shooter. This summer we could've gone out and signed a vet. But wouldn't that hinder Exum's progression? Then he went out and tore his ACL but by that time most of the vet PGs were signed. Should we have gone out and tried to sign a shooter? In hindsight yes, because Hood and Hayward have been bad from the 3 Pt line and Burks is now injured.

Hindsight is 20/20. We still don't know what this roster is and with all the injuries, probably will never know.

I think DL may need to make a move or two before the deadline if we want to still make the playoffs and actually b competitive.

If not, then for sure this summer we must revamp this roster seriously. I don't think Burks can be depended on anymore due to his injury history. Not only that but his style doesn't seem to match our strategy.

Hood needs to be upgraded.

Booker, Jingles (he's a fringe NBA player), and Burke need to be gone...

Neto needs to be relegated to his proper role of 3rd stringer.

And we need someone other than Hayward who can create a shot for others.

It's time to make some moves to make a real push next year. We are just wasting Favors' and Hayward's best years right now.

After a few years of tanking we are still no better than the 8th seed. Essentially where we started when Jslo left, Corbin was coach, and Millsap and Big Al were here. After all these years we haven't accomplished a damn thing.

Frustrating. Especially when you look back upon the second half of the past season. It really looked like we had something special brewing. Now we just look so underwhelming on defense and completely inept on offense.

I sure as hell wouldn't want to watch this dumpster fire blown out in 4 games in the first round. Do you?

Can you name me 2-3 western conf teams other than GSW who are better than roughly 2013?

Memphis?
San Antonio?
Phoenix?
Okc?
Clippers?
Denver?
Minnesota?
Sacramento?
Lakers?

How can we accomplish a damn thing in a year full of crucial injuries?
