I asked this before, but what is supposed to be inspiring about hadleys situation? I don't understand what he has done that is courageous. I don't look down upon him for what he did in the slightest, just don't get what "redemption" he has had in the last 10 days. Did people expect him to die or something after he got caught?
Can a byu person please chime in on this?^
Year after year I hate the utes less and less and even find myself liking a lot of their players, and then ute fans show me how much hate they have for anything byu related and it just makes it tough to like the utes.
Byu does a good deed and goes to the prison to try to help out some inmates.... Lets bash em.
Hadley goes out and has some drinks at a club, something lots of us do myself included, byu suspends him for five games for it..... Lets bash em.
Ute students make a video making fun of missionaries..... barely a word is said about it.
Seems about right.
It's funny that in a day and time where every human being alive is carrying a cell phone camera that none of these beer pouring incidents have ever been caught on tape. What has been caught on tape is a byu fan trying to assault coach Whittinghams wife, a byu fan attacking a Utes cheerleader on the field, byu fans throwing trash at referees, and a byu player yelling "**** you" at a Utes fan. Why is there no videos of things like this with Utes fans?
There is a 0% chance the beer incident ever happened. I've been to every Utes home game the last 10 years, and it's a laughable scenario, just like the byu "remember the titans" prison story.
PS: I generally think green is a retard but he nailed it with Max Hall lying about beer incidents at both schools he attended.

Then you go and do the same thing by insinuating that BYU is the only school that produces good humans and the other schools all let their kids run wild.
Hadley screwed up. He's trying to get better. Neither thing deserves any press. Let him fix himself privately instead of all this Pharisee crap.
You keep asking the question. Here, once again, is the answer:
"Hadley's problems started when a Utah fan going by the name Darren Lucy sent an email to Utes associate athletic director for compliance Kate Charipar. "
So, Hadley's problems didn't start when he decided to break the HC. They started when he was caught. And it was Utah's fault he was caught.
green said:"I had no intention of mentioning the game in the book, but the extreme profanity and vile abuse I witnessed that night caught me off guard. Utah fans spit on BYU players and taunted BYU fans by mocking the school's honor code. In one sense it reminded of the 1980s when the Notre Dame-Miami rivalry was cast as The Catholics versus The Convicts. But the BYU-Utah rivalry has a certain us-versus-them tone. Only it is Mormons versus Mormons."
This is such typical BYU behavior. Hadley's problems were because he got caught and Ute fans spit and swear and pour beer on everyone.
green said:Again, get over yourselves. YOU guys are the jerks. YOU guys are who Elder Holland and Pres Uchtdorf are talking to. YOU.
*cue Michael Jackson's "Man in the Mirror"*
Who is doing the embellishment? Come one now. Do what Colton did and realize that you guys are in the wrong here and back out.
Max Hall told the same lie in the NFL. Yes I fully believe Max Hall is a big fat POS liar. I all my years as a Ute fan I've never once seen a "BEER" in the stadium. 12 Years as a season ticket holder and not one. I've seen Wiskey, Tequila, Vodka and lots of other drinks snuck in but nobody is wasting their time sneaking a freaking beer into the stadium. Let alone on 2 different occasions and then pouring them out. So yes I call them both LIARS.So your attitude is just to call everyone liars? Max Hall must have lied about the beer. This guy must have lied about the beer. I'm not sure if you're also one of the ones calling him a liar about the prison incident, but if so then that's just one more thing you can't accept as reality (despite it being easily falsifiable).
Maybe, just maybe, you should open your mind a bit.
Well you could also state that BYU fans make a whole lot more about every little thing BYU does good or bad than Ute fans. Also @fixed. Am I wrong?
I said that ute fans talk alot about anything that byu does wrong. is that not true?
Well you could also state that BYU fans make a whole lot more about every little thing BYU does good or bad than Ute fans.
.
BYU team goes to jail you get a BS story all about how the player in the news of the day was doing something good. When was the last time Ute fans wrote something like that about their team?
When's the last time there was ever any positive material to write about the Utes?
You're a retard.

The only "smack" byu fans have been able to use is the fan smack card the last four years. Mostly because it needs no hard proof evidence to back anything up. Just "stories" they can share among themselves to make them feel like they are the chosen fan base.

At least somebody with a position of influence can show that Benedict article for the propaganda trash it was.
Gordon Monson is a moran. He's always been about him, and about some freakish sort of "shock" journalism. He is constantly trying to take the contrarian road in order to feel like he's cutting edge in his opinions. Most of the time his takes are idiotic and way off base, but he's only looking for a reaction. I trust almost nothing he writes or says, and have stopped reading his crap and listening to the radio if he's on. He tries so hard to be funny when he's not.
Using him to backup up your point is pretty weak imo. I would say the same thing if he wrote something to support a point I back. Just don't like the dude.
wtf is a moran?
When's the last time there was ever any positive material to write about the Utes?
I actually got the chance to sit down last Sunday morning and read a very uplifting article about The U. It was talking about the prior nights football game against a local rival. Apparently, Utah has won 4 in a row against this team as well as 8 of 10, 9 of 12, and 14 of the last 20. I could keep going but I think you get the point.
I can't speak for everybody who read the article, but it certainly left me feeling very positive.
