What's new

GAME THREAD: Utah @ Golden State, 2/2/12, 8:30 Utah time

Jamaal Tinsley looks fantastic. There's been no doubt since about 5 games into the season, that Devin Harris was our 3rd best PG. If the Jazz can't find a taker for him by the deadline, I would amnesty him in the offseason.

13-3 offensive rebounding advantage for GS. This time we can't even blame it on AJ, Favors & Kanter gave up a bunch of those.

Tinsley's contract ends on Feb. 10th, I guess that first half just secured him for the rest of the year.

Have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by Tinsley's PG ability. I hope Harris is out for a couple of more games so we can see if he can keep it up.

He can actually run a halfcourt offense and make stuff happen unlike Harris or Watson.

Tinsley's fun to watch. Now why can't Harris be out and Watson still be in. I'd rather have Tinsley run that second unit....The first unit has no alley oopers

Millsap and Jefferson don't seem to have their legs tonight, would play Favors and Kanter heavy minutes in the 2nd half.

Nah, Tinsley appears to operate better in a halfcourt were he can feel out the defense and make passes in the seems they provide him.

Watson seems to be more of up-tempo ball pusher, which really fits well with the youthful 2nd unit.

Millsap and Jefferson have been playing heavy minutes in this compressed season. I'm worried Ty is going to run them down before the tough part of the season.
