Game Thread: Utah vs. Weber State (9/7, Noon, PAC12TV)

Do the Utes really need to take games like this to pad their win column? I couldn't watch much of it past the first three plays Weber St. had.

All the excuses about needing strength of schedule, then they throw in 4-5 of these cupcakes every year.

Good thing the Utes didn't take this game for granted.

Lol. Yeah, the 12th hardest schedule in the country = 4-5 cupcakes.

Lol.

Utah is set to play more ranked teams this year than BYU has played the last 10.

Nice try zoob.

Why is everyone predicting they go 9-3 or 8-4 then?

Remember them talking on the radio how the utes were about to play the toughest schedule anyone in the state has ever played.

Ute fans everywhere.

All I'm saying is if I'm going to try to watch Big Ambitions I don't want to know the outcome after 2 or 3 plays. I'll take you guys word for it though.

Just wait until you check out their basketball schedule

Sorry guys, forget you have to follow Utes 24-7 to ask questions. Thanks for serving the zoobs Green and The Jaz Fan.

So since I was busy watching the Aggies walk over AF, I didn't get a chance to catch the score of this game. How did the final score end up?

It was good to see the offense click so well, and hopefully this gives TWil some extra confidence, but it still feels a little hollow beating up on Weber St.

It is what it is. Their two minute offense looked good. Wilson looked amazing. Dres still drops too many balls. Dres dropped one for sure TD and maybe another. Could you imagine if Dres catches those two, and Wilson is 16/19 with 4 TD's and 2 Rushing TD's. Yikes. The kid is a legit QB. The secondary still looks suspect.

Big game this weekend for Utah. Big test for their secondary. We will know if this is a Utah team that will win 6 games this year, or if they have a shot for 7 or 8 wins.

Fun stuff. I love this schedule. I felt bad watching USU this weekend. They are too good to play that crappy of a schedule.

For sure I would rather see a blowout than a squeaker against a school like WS, but it was SO lopsided that it almost makes me feel like I can't really take much from it. Wilson looked phenomenal - hopefully it carries through.
