What's new

Game Tread: Pelicans @ Utah, 11/22/14, 7pm, MST

brow ain't good. brow is great. i love that kid.
he should go to a bigger market. dude is too good to rot in new orleans.

Yeah, because if there's one thing the league needs, it's for all small market teams to rot while all the superstars play in the big markets.

Negged.

Trey and Kanter should go to a bigger market instead of rotting in Utah as well...

Snyder shouldn't have to rip them every game for this team to actually play with some fire.

At some point the players need to show some of their own fight. Does anyone even have passion for this game called basketball? Or do they all just care about making an appearance, stand around for 48 mins, and collect a pay check after?

The lack of spirit is most disturbing. In 2004, we saw a Jazz team that would lose for lack of talent, never for lack of fight. We aren't as talented as a lot of the good teams in the NBA. That means we gotta make it up in execution and fight.

Not seeing the face of Sidney Lowe during this assistan coach talk is truly a blessing.

I'm starting to believe in Hayward's ability to make some space for himself and make a play. He's a good player.

Give it a year or two and Hayward + Exum will be near-impossible to guard. Now we just need a legit scoring big, which seems not to exist yet.

I just wanna know what's happened recently? Since the road trip the Jazz seam like a different team, a lazy flat footed team

I know! Really, they lost all their energy, no joy, no enthusiasm. Favors has reached double digit rebounds once in the last 6 games, and now scored 2 freaking points in the first half.

Quin can't scream at them every game. Where is the team leadership? Where is Max Hayward?

I don't know what it is about Burks, but he just doesn't blend too well with the other guys. Either he'd driving and making a play on his own, or he's not really involved.

I think Davis is a legit MVP candidate next year, if not this year.

History says we have to be a top 3 or 4 seed for him to be a real MVP candidate. Don't see that happening this year or next.

And shame on whoever wants Davis to leave New Orleans. As a Jazz fan you should know better.
