What's new

Gamethread: Houston Rockets @ Utah Jazz. 7pm MST.

That's my point. His skill set and ability don't match his vision. Or let's put it this way. If Josh Smith had Joe's basketball IQ, he'd be a franchise player. If Joe had Smith's basketball IQ, he'd be putting shrimp on the barby somewhere in suburban Australia right now.
Jump passes are a no no... basketball 101. Gotta know where you are going before you jump. Ingles jumps and then realizes that there are long athletic bodies everywhere and no where to pass it.

Really boring game for some reason. Nonetheless, there's nothing better than taking a **** on the Rockets.

The worst thing about his jump pass TO"s is that they usually come right after he passes up an open shot.

No, attempting jump passes is the opposite of basketball IQ.

Also, Josh Smith has incredible basketball IQ. He is an extremely talented passer with great vision, he just he has no shot discipline and refuses to admit he can't shoot.
Josh smith doesn't seem to have much of any type of iq to be honest..

having flash backs to the last rockets game where Lyles blew a stupid *** layup just like that, and then the rockets went on a huge run.

You never watched Smith then in his prime. He may have not been the most coachable player, not wanting to compromise his game, but he had a ton of natural IQ and vision.
