Gamethread: Jazz in Chicago playing just on game on 8/3 at 18:00(time to break the streak)

We are never going to win games as long as Foye remains in his slump. 8-31 for 20 pts in March. This has been going on for a month now. If Foye doesn't hit his first two shots, then Corbin needs to bench him for the remainder of the game.
 
Oh man, I can't believe another one. 3 games come down to three possessions and 5 points.

With out reading everyone's posts I'm wondering if there is more complaining around here, or more people rejoicing.

Hayward needs to rebound, and is probably not a play maker for clutch.
 
didnt get to watch the game, just curious, did al help down the stretch?


not being facetious... really wondering.
 
Man its almost eery, Lakers are getting into close games down the stretch but making the plays in every single one of them, game tying 3s, and bam, they've made up complete ground on us in 1 week.
 
Who cares. The only thing making the playoffs will do (outside of extending our season by four miserable games) is tempt management into maintaining the status quo.

There's a certain guy in LA who was not clutch for several years when he came into the NBA. Not saying Gordo will ever become a superstar, but he does have the shooting ability to be a clutch performer...only time will tell.

I would trade burks while he has some trade value. He and hayward are physically too weak at 2-3. We should find a good SF near hayward and make him play 2
 
I'm not a huge fan of Al, but he bullied Noah tonight.
Marvin with a great game. Honestly not sure how we lost. We were playing so well. I'd complain about Tinsley, but he played better than Mo tonight.
**** this game.
 
Inability to get the big rebound several times in that 4th. We stopped them, and there would be a fight for the ball which ended up in a Bulls score.
The jump ball on Favors rebound also comes to mind. The Bulls just willed their way to victory again.

At least Corbin went with Tinsley over Watson.
 
These losses are just getting nauseating.

That win was total luck on the Bulls part though. Just every bad break went the Jazz's way at the end.

I want to close with Hayward burks kanter and favors. Let them all learn before next year
 
Too many turnovers, poor defense at the end of the half, not getting rebounds and a few ill advised shots at the end of the game resulted in the loss. There were several contributors to the loss. It was a team effort and another loss opportunity.

Who's calling the plays and making the decisions that result in Hayward only taking 6 shots? You gotta shoot that much just to warm up. If I was coaching the first quarter would be like shooting practice, giving everyone their six shots. Then go with the guys who are hitting, and don't take them out until they miss twice in a row or something.

and, uh. . . . shooting practice. . . . . . nothing more fundamental in the game.
