Gamethread: Jazz in Oklahomo playing "just one game" at 1800 on wetnessday

Thankfully the result of this game was spoiled to me before I could watch this awful game. Granted I didn't expect the Jazz to win anyway, but it's extremely sad when once again the bench outperforms the starters in a huge way.

but the bench did it against bench players

so it does not count

I just heard this on TipOff today:
In the last 7 games, the Jazz are -112 with Al Jefferson on the floor.
Think about that for a sec.

Are you serious? I'm trying to let that outrageous number sink into my brain. I keeping coming back to one thought: Why?

Why does the coach, GM, Owner let it go on?

Holy ****. I'm not usually one for +/- totally, but that number is just way too difficult to ignore.

Hey, at least he brings us offense.

I want to know how Dutch would respond

Well, suck it up. It just means we need to go on a 17-0 run when Al isn't on the floor to make up for it. Pansies.

Let's do some math here.

We are -17.5 when Al is on the floor each game in these last 7.
If the rate continues at 7 games/-122 with Al on the floor, then we will be -296 with Al on the floor the next 17.
Without Al on the floor, we'll have to be +297 or around +17.5 per game.

Al is off the floor for about 15 minutes per game. In those 15 minutes, we HAVE to be +17.5.
Ofcourse this is all averaged in with the NY and OKC losses, so it's a little biased and that means the math isn't all right. But if the trend continues on average, this is what we're looking at.

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. No wonder the tempo increases when Al is off the floor. They need to put up points in a hurry.

Yes last nights game was a new low that I can remember, some of my board friendly cometary while watching the game was. These aren't really that funny but I need to vent since no one else would suffer this game with me to actually hear me.

In the middle of the 3rd Qtr: If OKC left for their next game now the Jazz would not only still lose but they would actually fall further behind and lose by more being the only team on the court that is how much they suck.

The Jazz invented a new level of suck, a black whole watched the game and was jealous of just how much suck was coming from that game.

They (Jazz) should all get on their knees and appoligize for not only wasting the Jazz's money and fuel for flying down there and their salary for the game. Also not just for wasting both fan bases time and money but they should apologize to the air for breathing it in and wasting it.

Thought of CJ's line "burn it and burn the ashes" (in regards to the Jazz themselves): wonder if fire can exist within so much sucktitude, the Jazz may have created an unstoppable force of suck that nothing can never be stopped until it's suck and consumed everything.

Thanks for letting me vent and as bad/lame as those were I can take solace in the fact that it wasn't anywhere near as bad as this game actually was.
