What's new

GAMETHREAD: Jazz vs Lakers, Anaheim 8:00pm MT

End game lineups this year seem to be favoring Kirilenko over Millsap. Could be a lot of different matchups at the end, with Bell, Miles, Kirilenko, and Millsap all possibilities being off the bench.

With the way Kirilenko is playing in the preseason, though, he's looking to be a lock on the floor in the final minutes.

Yeah, you only need to ice it for 15 minutes or so.

The only thing that worries me is that sometimes they can linger if you don't let it fully heal.

man that is a name, my cousin sent me vhs tapes in pal of darkwing duck, best duck ever, love the episode where they mistake him for donald.

This cinches it... the Jazz are going 82-0 this season!!

OK, maybe 55/56 wins but I can live with that.

I wonder how Big Al feels at this point. 7-0 in the pre-season has to be incredibly intoxicating at this point to someone that has done nothing but lose his entire NBA career.

Raja holding Kobe to 2-13 = WIN

Raja was okay from the field but his defense should get him the strating job at least when we play LA

I'll give Looza style points for the new tattoo on his head, but that's it.

The most encouraging thing, IMO, is that the young 'uns have held the leads in the 4th quarters. Gotta be a confidence builder for Hayward, Evans, etc.
After tonight, Watson definiely gets my vote for #2 PG. He's still got some game left in him. The way he ran down the clock, then took it strong to the hoop. Price or Gaines would have each pulled up for an 18-ft jumper. No, check that, Gaines would have drawn the foul, then missed both FT's.

Tonight was pretty ugly in parts, but credit the Jazz for playing solid defense. They were getting back in transition, playing good help defense. They still gave up some 3's - and maybe the game would have been different had LA hit a few. But most of those 3's were rushed and not in the flow of the Laker offense. Jazz definitely frustrated them.

When's the last time the Lakers were held to under 75 points, ya figure?
