What's new

GDT: Utah visits Tankers, Sat @ 8:30 p.m.

I'm still excited about the future, our guys are still way young! Kanter is what 21? And our guys haven't gotten the minutes need to grow into solid players.

The tank is in full effect, Favors looking great and Hayward picked up alittle after a tough start- I cant help but feel either Kanter still isn't 100% or he's protecting his shoulder seems to be more content to take Js now than be the bully down low

I don't think anybody is getting in his face telling him to get to the rim either. Corbin's offense just doesn't make him.

Burks is playing really bad, and watching Corbin he does not like Burks play at all. Don't think Burks last with the Jazz unless he picks up his play big time and/or Corbin stays the coach. I really wonder if he would look this bad if he had of gotten play time to develop.

I think we were right on in what we offered Gordon. He's not worth much more than 10-11 mil per. He might get paid more than that, but we are seeing
him too often not show up on the road, and not shoot the ball well against good competition.

Hell Klay Thompson is worth more than Hayward at this point. I love Hay I really do, but let's not build around him as a max player.
He'll have great games, and several bad games in a row. He can't shoot the ball consistently. I'm just not seeing him as the cornerstone.
Marvin freaking Williams shot the ball better than Hay tonight.

but "hay" at least he's better than Lucas. That clown doesn't deserve to put on an NBA uniform.

and "hay" i'll man up about my boy Burks. He's been a huge disappointment so far.

Hayward shoot better then Stephen Curry last night. So by your logic:

Thompson>Marvin>Hayward>Curry?

Kanter is doing the exact same thing that Favors was doing last week. He has a call against him on one end, not get a call on the other end and it gets in his head. Karl Malone should call Kanter and tell him the next time he looks up at the ceiling takes a deep breath and slumps his shoulders he's going to kick the **** out of him.

Kanter is a shell of his former self. No tweeting at the ladies, no funny interviews, oh and then theres the basketball thing..

Kanter, as a rookie was better than this year.

Where has his strength gone? Is that why we aren't even attempting to have him post up down low? Where were those sweet moves that he had?

I remember him smashing one of the best centers in the league, Andrew Bynum inside. Now, I don't even recall the last time he did anything inside.

If he continues on this route, he'll be that colossal bust we had all feared he'd be.

Loved the defense last night. It was amazing how often we suckered the poor Warriors into taking those commie 3-point shots by collapsing in the middle. Especially that Thompson kid, he shot 8 of the them and only made 5! LOL. Nice work, Ty, learned it all from Ol' Jer.

And yet, once again, the Jazz held their opponent to below their average in 3-pointers attempted AND 3-pt field goal percentage.

THE JAZZ 3-PT DEFENSE HAS BEEN WELL ABOVE LEAGUE AVERAGE THIS SEASON.

I liked Thompson around where we were picking, but didn't think he'd ever be this good. I honestly liked Burks a lot and was thrilled when he fell to us.
