That's our very own LogGrad98 giving personal escort to our most prized Tank Tards through the great Reno, Nevada on the Battle Mountain Short Bus. Injured Trey Burke along for good company.

I feel worst loss of the season coming. Tank will be as shiny as ever after tonight.

So I heard the GS pretty good at making 3's and that the jazz are pretty bad at defending 3's...

Jazz win if they lose and win if they win. If the Jazz are going to win games I want it to be against the Tankers. For the next two games I will be cheering for a Jazz victory.

Jazz will have plenty of other chances to lose and keep the tank alive.

The Jazz are not bad at defending the 3. Jazz opponents are 21st in 3FG% and 26th in 3FGA per game. This popular Jazzfanz myth just won't go away.

This is an example of what I was trying to bring up in a previous game thread, people spread misinformation/emotional drivel as fact and it gets repeated and repeated until it is assumed fact.
Like after a bad assist game when someone was saying the Jazz suck at assists this year because of the offensive sets, not taking into account they are the one of the most TO prone teams and have near the lowest FG% reducing the ability to get an assist and the worst PG rotation in all of the NBA. However if you look at their total for the season it isn't near the bottom and if you look at their assist to made shot ratio it is much better.

My point people pick something and someone to hate throw some nonsense out there and eventually people believe it as fact.

In my example above they were trying to blame Corbin, much like some will with the 3pt % you just brought up and I'm not here to say Corbin is a good coach, however instead of blaming him for everything try using actual facts like correct statics or non emotional bias to back up your opinions.

Anyway I digress because I'm not hear to defend or debate anyone on the Jazz, players or coaches and know better than to get into it with posters who may or many not be doing this.

All good points, but I think that one of Corbin's biggest failings as a coach is that he lacks the leadership that all good coaches exude. It's just not there.

Yeah and that is one thing that is all but impossible to show in any stats, some of the ways would be if players don't listen, or tune him out which I don't think this group has. Another example that I think he might fit into is the players do seem to be trying and listening and genuinely like him but just don't get it and keep making mistakes, so I guess that would be the teaching aspect of coaching.

What is a little funny or ironic is people here want an analytic coach but Corbin isn't stupid, he graduated with a degree in computer science which would seem to lend itself to being analytic (at least in perspective of a coach/player)
