R-A-M-S...Rams! Rams! Rams!

It's good to get the annual victory.

My Sgt. is a Rams fan. Considering that they currently have double the wins of the Vikes I have been very quiet around the office. I got nothing against the Rams, and I like Bradford, but for the love of all that is holy get the kid some O-Line help. The season could prove me wrong, but right now at least, IMO Washington is a very underrated team, so that is a pretty good W.

Nope, not sarcasm. It's legit. I see his brother Zac all the time too, he lives just a few minutes away from me. I've posted on here about it before, I guess you just haven't seen it.

In fact, I believe you scooped everyone on Austin's decision to go Pro via some family party intel or something.

Man, if the Raiders could have finished that game yesterday I could have gone back to being a Raiders homer. When your team sucks for so long though, it's not really possible.

Both teams are 1-2. The Rams feel good about winning one and the Vikings consider their season a disaster so far.

They're young and undisciplined. That doesn't equate to no talent. You can see the potential from time-to-time. It's there, it's just not consistent to say the least. That comes down to coaching. I've been a 49ers practically my whole life and almost never miss a game (sadly). I think I would know what the problems are better than someone who just sees a box score or highlights.
Well I think you will enjoy this then the Niners just fired Jimmy Raye and promoted the QB coach to his position

Raye was dismissed one day after San Francisco lost 31-10 at Kansas City to fall to 0-3. The 49ers have scored 38 points, second fewest in the NFL behind Carolina.
Mike Johnson will move from quarterbacks coach to offensive coordinator. Offensive assistant Jason Michael will take over as quarterbacks coach.
Coach Mike Singletary said he made the decision after spending the night looking at game film.
"One thing I want you to understand is if I make a decision, it's my decision," he said. "The thing that I have control over is the 53-man staff, the 53-man roster and the staff, who is on my coaching staff. That is my decision."
The 49ers also plan to make changes on defense, with linebacker Takeo Spikes and safety Michael Lewis set to lose their starting positions, league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Constant Change for 49ers

Jimmy Raye was the first 49ers offensive coordinator to start a second season since Greg Knapp (2002, '03). It's understandable why quarterback Alex Smith has struggled as there's been no consistency at the offensive coordinator position.

49ers offensive coordinators since 2002

2002 Greg Knapp 2003 Greg Knapp 2004 Ted Tollner 2005 Mike McCarthy 2006 Norv Turner 2007 Jim Hostler 2008 Mike Martz 2009 Jimmy Raye 2010 Jimmy Raye* *Fired and replaced by Mike Johnson

The 49ers were considered a favorite in the NFC West this year, but their offense has stalled, plagued by turnovers and a weak running game.
"I just felt that for the overall scheme of things, where we are, I just felt that right now that Mike Johnson would do a good job," Singletary said. "I think Mike will do a good job of bringing the staff together. I think Mike is a great communicator. I think Mike is a great teacher. I think he's a visionary. I think he understands what we're trying to accomplish and I think the players will embrace him."
Singletary denied any knowledge that the Chiefs knew the 49ers' offensive signals, saying he hadn't heard anything about it.
Raye was in his second season with the 49ers. He has spent more than 30 years in coaching, including a previous stint with San Francisco as wide receivers coach in 1977.
Raye and Singletary often disagreed on how to get the offense rolling. Quarterback Alex Smith has been inconsistent, as have the receivers, with only running back Frank Gore a steady contributor.
After the 49ers' 31-6 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the opener, Raye took the blame for the team's problems on offense.
"I bear all the responsibility for the way we operate on offense," Raye said then. "I'm the leader. It's my watch."
Not any longer.
But Singletary wasn't having any of that blame-sharing, anyway.
"I would put all of it on my shoulders," Singletary said

unbelievable, I think Alex should just leave and go play backup at San Diego under Norv Turner, I don't think SF fans would mind.

I don't care who wins tonight as long as Rodgers, Finley, and the Packers D/ST have awesome games. Which would probably mean the Bears lose so, **** you Archie.

Stupid question here:

With one timeout and a minute and a half left, the Bears have the ball at first and goal. Why not, if you're the Packers, let them run in the endzone and give yourself a minute and 20 seconds to tie the game instead of burning up time and letting the kicker kick a sure field goal?

Stupid, stupid, stupid clock management. Why they don't have a guy on staff who can calculate these things (like with 1 timeout and 1:38 left three downs will bring the clock down to around 10 seconds if the timeout is used).

Yeah that was stupid. Especially considering they have Aaron Rodgers as their quarterback.

*Edit: Meant the Packers were stupid not ur question. lol

Very much so. It's probably come too late to save the season, but it's at least good to see they are addressing the problem. Singletary was a big proponent of Raye...he said after the game Sunday how he was going to be with the team that whole season. Pretty sudden turn around overnight, so I would have to think it took some urging, but I'll take it anyways. I don't think it will be an huge offensive overhaul, but I would like to think this Johnson guy shows some more creativity (like not running 3 straight draw plays in the 3rd quarter down 21) and utilizing the weapons the team has, unlike Raye. And Smith is a big fan of Johnson apparently, so we'll see. But it is pretty crazy to think how many people thought Alex would improve with having the same coordinator for consecutive seasons. Well so much for that, turns out he just isn't a good one.

But the Fresno homer in me does wonder what Carr can bring, if Alex doesn't work out (which doesn't look promising).

As a Niners fan, I would gladly trade places with you. At least the expectations for your team are low. Bradford is gonna be a top QB in this league for a long time. And it's probably going to come faster than people think. Just piles on to my 49ers misery.

I'm a Bears fan. I have been my whole life. I hope they win this year. Too bad Cutler is a beeotch.

Cutler has a lot of Jim McMahon in him, which is a good thing. The Bears haven't had a QB with a little attitude since McMahon and it's exactly what they need.

I know we're 3-0 (Bears fan as well) and we haven't played a semi-decent game yet. Cutler and Martz are a match made in heaven.

Cutler got away with 2 passes on the final drive that should have been INT's. He'll never change. His footwork is the worst in the league by far and he makes terrible decisions. I think he's had 8 INT's dropped this year...I know he had 5 dropped INT's in the first 2 games and a couple were dropped last night.
