General NFL 2010 Regular Season Thread

I'm currently watching one of the greatest comebacks in NFL history on ESPN2. It's the Wild Card game from January 2003 between the Giants and 49ers. 49ers were down 38-14 with 4:27 left in the 3rd quarter, and came back to win. Just an amazing comeback. I miss that 49ers team. It was the last time the 49ers were any good.

Haven't we suffered enough this season?

YES!!! After all the twists and turns in the speculation this week, the 49ers have landed Jim Harbaugh as their new head coach!! It was just reported by multiple sources. The 49ers have a press conference scheduled for this afternoon, and Harbaugh is at 49ers headquarters.

I am reading that the Browns are interviewing Pat Shurmur, the Rams' offensive coordinator, for the HC spot and it makes me wonder: Didn't Holmgren watch that "game" on Sunday night? I hope he gets the job.

Why was this thread unstickied when the playoffs are just starting?

This Seahawks vs Saints game is quite competitive so far.

*Edit* I guess I should have paid closer attention to the part of the thread title in bold. Of course it could just be changed to General NFL Thread.

This game is not surprising. They play football in the NFC West, week in, week out. They're not out there playing the little sisters of the poor.

This game seems like the most boring game in the history of the playoffs after the early game we just witnessed.

Well I'm super disgusted. The Colts' special teams coach should be tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail.

Anyways, time to honor the bet. Ugh.

The Colts always find a way to lose...except for that one year, at least. Peyton really gets off easily for his playoff failures.

It doesn't help that he is throwing to a bunch of guys who should probably working the overnight shift at Wal-Mart. You can't blame this loss on him, the coaching is what cost them. WTF was that timeout?

Peyton was fine tonight, aside from some questionable 3rd down calls early in the game. The rest of the team blew chunks. It doesn't help when the whole Colts team has 11 more yards than LT got the whole game, or when the special teams played like they were "special."
