I have been getting SCHOOLED about mountains, of late. I am now convinced that the beautiful backdrop in this picture is the Rocky Mountains. Thanks be to god.

I had to take a quick break to shave my legs and take in the stunning view of Draper from the Rocky Mountains, in this pic.

Oh I see what you did there! I live right along the Rocky Mountain fault, and we SLCers are concered about a big earthquake if the Rocky Mountain fault shifts.
 
beautiful photos by the way, I'm a flatlander myself, haven't been near mountains for several years, but sometimes when I look out over Lake Michigan, the clouds give the appearance of being a mountain range off in the distance. Not quite the same, but it's all I've got.
 
Take what you can get, Moe. But you gotta check these wicked Rocky Mtns some time soon. They are gorgeous.
