It's not exactly clear from this article:

It seems the old guy was fired in December and his current agent didn't start representing officially him until Mid May. He may have been there unofficially of course.
I didn't catch this the first time I read it, but I think this sentence clears it up:
Hill informed secondary agent Michael Whitaker this month that he, too, had been terminated.
It says had been, not has been terminated. That leads me to believe there was a secondary guy who was, for some unknown reason, unaware of the December firing. So this really seems like a non-story IMO.
And the guy who started representing him in May has been his financial advisor for 10 years.
