yeah he's not a wimp. Like the majority of 30+ year olds in the NBA, his body just can't respond to the wear and tear as well as it used to.

yeah people upset about him missing so much time have some validity, though most for the wrong reasons. It's just difficult to lose a cornerstone player for half the season, and the likelihood of him missing significant time seems to be rising.
 
Every problem is an opportunity for someone. Tonight is Dante and Raul's opportunity to play on the biggest stage yet with very little personal pressure.

The off-season with Favors will be pretty telling, perhaps. A lot depends on the player's willingness to follow a regimen of health, though, no? Are there contractual stipulations with regard to that? One thing I know, though, not everyone heals up the same.

you make a good point, not everyone wants to do the work to heal properly either. My wife is a nurse at a chronic wound clinic, and constantly remarks about people not following direction and never really healing.

You deserve multiple reps for using the word "regimen" instead of either "regime" or "regiment".

In French there is a special word for big toe-"orteil" although I guess rudy might refer to Hill's toes with other words.
