What's new

Give love to Rodney and Alec tonight - game thread Cavs at Jazz 7 pm 18 Jan 2019

Damn we're 15.5 point favorites. Gotta be our highest spread of the year by far right? I'm sure AB and Hood will get a warm reception, I mean **** I've heard Marvin Williams and Richard Jefferson get cheers when they came back.

Wish I was there. I would be cheering perhaps louder when they got announced then when the Jazz get announced just because it would be a treat to make them feel welcome. It's also REALLY nice to see that Utah is a place where most of our players want to be, where management doesn't dump them on a whim, and where fans appreciate the players that bring it night in and night out. Alec spent more time on his but than on the court by far, but I have always believed in Burks.

It's also fun to contrast the way Alec and Rodney left compared to Gordon's departure. Ha ha ha. BOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

I still love Rodney Hood, he had some great moments with us.
Yes, tons of them. Dude can play. He just mentally checked out a time when DM was given a bigger role but it's cool.. Thanks to him Utah landed Jae, the type of player needed for postseason success.
AB on the other hand is unanimously loved. He's a true professional and a fun locker room guy. He gave Quin Snyder heart attacks with those contested long pull up 2s but I'm sure the coach loves him too.

Might be the highest spread in Utah Jazz history. I don't remember any 15+ in last 10 years.

I'm indifferent about Hood. He kind of threw a tantrum about his role on the team behind the scenes before he was traded from what I've heard. I won't be booing but I don't see any reason to cheer either. Meh. I'll be cheering for AB though. He was a class act at all times.

So.... you losers are not going to chant "We don't miss you" like you did to Hayward?

That made you look like a dumped girlfriend.

"Stay Classy?" from earlier in thread. You are nothing close to classy.

Bunch of idiots.....you should hear yourselves.....

Counting the days til Rudy Leaves ;)

I think AB will get louder applause, I still think Rodney deserves them. Donovan’s complimented Rodney a lot, I think he will enjoy a warm reception for him.

Odds of Hood being our scoring off the bench next year?

Less than 1%. Hood is the guy that Jazz management was saying was going to be the offensive leader of the team after Haywood left. Around 6 months later they were trading him. Jazz management does not give up on a young player that quickly... unless the player did something off the court that damaged the relationship beyond repair. Hood did something that killed the relationship and I doubt they'd want him back.

Imagine being a big enough loser you have enough time to troll other teams forums, and then calling them idiots, and classless. Look in a mirror, and there you will find the POS you describe.

PS We love AB, still like Hood quite a bit. Your guy.....will get booed the rest of his career here, so get used to it you slimy, pathetic waste.

I wonder if Rodney would do well if he were to be traded back or sign back with us knowing his role would be less "The Man" overall and more just scoring punch off of the bench.
