These are starting offers. I believe both are slightly too low straight up except that The Denver suddenly becomes worst team in NBA and moves to number one in lottery balls.
 
Denver has been hot lately. Their management has clearly stated they are trying to win every year. It isn't happening.
 
Ty Lawson? Isn't that the dad on the 1980s TV sitcom Small Wonder?
He was a hell of a robotics engineer, but I didn't know he played basketball. But if he is an upgrade, and if he is available, I'm all for it.
And maybe he can develop a basketball player robot that looks like a real boy and he can come play for the jazz and become an elite player. Win win!

That is what The Utah told us for years to. Dont you get it man? They said they will try to make playoffs no matter what trying to keep Paul & Als values high.

That does not work. The GMs know Denver will have to tank it is just matter of time. Only the Millwaukee can not tank and suck for a decade before forced to sell team.
 
I don't think we can get Lawson.

But I think it's a good idea to look in that talent-range for guys who can play at Snyder's pace.
 
Lawson did NOT want to be drafted by the Jazz. He made that clear. No thanks!

Also, why do we want to trade 4 assets for one when Exum will be the man in one year? I wouldn't trade Alec for Lawson straight up.

Move on folks. Nothing to see here.

Though Lawson is obviously the better player right now I wouldn't trade Burks for him.

I would rather have the cheaper player, who wants to be here.

Add in the fact that we are not winning now with or without Lawson..... lawson would be in the way of exum.... by the time we are ready to contend, Lawson would probably be about to leave utah.

And then there is the chance that Burks is a much better player in three years than he is right now..... I don't think Lawson is going to get much better than he is.

So Burks is cheaper, wants to be here, doesn't play point guard (the same position as the guy we drafted to be our franchise player), and there is a chance he will be the better player anyway.

Still a tough choice though because Lawson is really good now and Burks is just ok

Edit: Lawson also hurts the tank
