Bobcats want him gone. Use our trade exception and bring in tyson for a year. Make it happen KOC.

Who are we going to get with boozers exception?

Yes i'd use it on him. It isnt a big risk because he is only under contract for next season and he is exactly what we need right now.

What a waste of 10 million. He averaged 6/6/1. His basketball IQ is near the bottom in the NBA, and only has scoring potential from alley oops. At least Koufas has an akward hook shot that occasionally goes in. He has played 8 years now and know wont get better. What fascinates you about Tyson Chandler? Very curious?

Yes, for the last half of the season he did, and hardly got to play. How about the 3 years before then? He averaged around 11 and 11 with a block over the 3 years with Chris Paul. He could do the same thing here.

We need a big who can rebound and play a little D, thats what fascinates me about him.

Boozer's TPE has much more value at the end of next year. It'll have more value after all contracts have been signed. It'll have more value at the trade deadline. Hold on to it for now.

I think the Jazz need to find someone to keep us competitive at the start of next season. There is not al of options out there for this either.

We arent going to win a championship but we can't go from having a good team last year to dropping way out of the playoffs.

Everyone is already pissed off about the Knicks pick. We held onto it like gold and didnt get that much for it. I'm actually very happy with GH considering what was there and that it was only the 9th pick. But I think we could have got a lot more then that if we had traded the pick last year sometime. I just don't want the same situation with the boozer exception.

Tyson helps us out from day one, isnt a long term commitment, and makes the fans happy that we at least did something this offseason.

Chandler looked bad last year. He will be an old 28 by next season having came straight out of high school. To assume he will return to his best NO year is incredibly risky and even if he did, at 13 million, it would hardly be a bargain.
I know the TPE is worthless if you dont use it, but trust me, better options will become available.

They just passed on paying 20-10 Boozer $13M, so I'm confident they won't pay 6-6 Chandler about the same money. Even if you look at his best year (12-12), it was three years ago, but he played 45 games the next year and 51 this past season. On the surface he feels like he fills a need, but that TPE has to be saved until the draft unless there's a sure thing...and Tyson Chandler isn't it.

I've started this Chandler movement months ago, along w/ Tyrus Thomas... so I'm on board here. Chandler has been hurt the past 2 seasons & he's playing in his contract year. Yes we will be in the LT but is it our money(yes, I know small mkt but they've haven't been opposed to paying & its not a long-term commitment)? Dont they want to keep Deron happy...?? Can't we also S&T Chandler next summer...?? He' got length to guard against Gasol, Bynum, etc...

Not to put you on the spot but can you show examples of these TPE trades or players who would possibly move during the deadline?. If you can improve the team now, why wait?

Enough of excuses. We've been holding on to Harps exception for a while now, and nothing came up. You think someone better than Jefferson will come up all of the sudden? Will Miami be trading Bron to us later in the year? And we are not even the only ones with TPE.

I'd rather the TPEs expire than use them on Jefferson or Chandler.

Teams with a lot of salary are going to struggle. Happens every year. The Jazz are one of only a few with a large TPE. Let's see what happens.

GH is going to turn out to be a great pick. So far, I wish the clippers had taken him instead of AFA.

Minu was like a scared child in his first summer league game.

Now that we might get Jefferson, its time to figure out how to trade Brewer's TPE (2.717M) & Memo for Chandler!!
Clears 10.9M next summer...

Cannot combine TPE's with players.

I know, which is why I wrote figure out how to use those 2 assets & I think I figured it out....

1) ~17M in TPE (via Boozer-Brewer-Manor), MEM '11 1st (conditonal), & UTA '12 1st (conditional) for Al Jefferson & Ramon Session
2) Memo & Sessions for Tyson Chandler (i/o them getting Calderon) !!!!!
3) Sign everyone's favorite Lil Brother (just to appease DWill), Ronnie Brewer

Our 2010-11 Championship Lineup:
- DWill (36) / Price (10) / Gaines (x)
- Brewer (26) / Hayward (24) / Jeffers (x)
- CJ (28) / AK (28) / FA
- Jefferson (34) / Millsap (28) / Evans (x)
- Chandler (26) / KoKo (x) / Fes (x)

BEAT LA!! BEAT LA!!!
