what are you talking about?
LOP shared a tweet earlier in this thread by Peter Novak (no clue who that is) that said Gobert is out for game 4.
what are you talking about?
You are making numbers upThey score at least 20 less points in the paint and have to settle for jumpers. It was an 8 point game. Yeah, the Jazz win that.
"if" "likely"No. In the regular season the Jazz allowed an average of 41 points per game in the paint. In game 2 they allowed 60. So if they had Gobert they would likely be at least near their average. 60-41=19.
Dennis Lindsay said he would make sure Rudy remains protected, so that seems to suggest we won't see him tomorrow, and possibly in game 5. At least.
Game 6 at the earliest...if that. I feel he will be out longer than originally anticipated.
To be honest, even if he's out for the rest of the series, we should still be able to beat the 'Blake-less' Clippers. If we don't, I don't think we deserve to move on to the next round.
Yes, that is crazy. You have to have someone to box out Jordan. Those boxouts allow dudes like Hill and Hayward to dig in to get boards. If Gobert is out as expected... Why not go with a five of JJ, Hayward, Ingles, Hood and Hill? Go small, spread them out and make Jordan guard the perimeter. That five can't be any worse on the glass or on defense inside than the Favs/Diaw combo who got us 7 rebounds in a combined 62 minutes on the court in game 3. And it will be much more effective offensively than those two. Then when Jordan sits bring on Favs and/or Diaw and try to take a size advantage. Is that crazy?
Gobert officially listed as doubtful, so a slight upgrade in status.
