Uhh, just reading the side effects, it sound terrible for athletes.
Maybe he needs to switch religions.And yes, an article was written about Hood's nerves before games last year. He had this occasional problem since college. I doubt there is any medical answer, unless you want to have him on mood suppressors all the time. He says he reads certain Bible passages that help calm his nerves before the game.
