I hope the Zag's have enough firepower to overcome Jimmer's 45 on Saturday.
I doubt the Zag's will outrebound BYU by 20, or shoot that many more FT's.

BYU by 15? I think I smell a homer. Looks like the oddsmakers have the Zags as a 1-point favorite. I know almost nothing about Gonzaga this year but I'd still have to guess that BYU needs to play a better game than they did against Wofford or else they're done.

You have some strange teams, dude. The Jazz, The Dolphins, The Zags......aren't you from the East Coast or something too? How did you end up with that basket?
If the Zags play as well as they did yesterday, they'll beat BYU. The problem is, that was a pretty outlier performance for them. I think if BYU keeps the rebounding within single digits and Jimmer is at least average Jimmer, BYU wins. Although there is plenty about that matchup that is scary(size, dribble penetration, better athletes, etc.).

Zags have a big frontline which could give the cougs trouble.
Then again, BYU is due for a game shooting game from Emery.
To me, BYU is hit or miss. Without Davies, they don't have a post game. So they must rely on jumpshots. If they shoot well, they can beat nearly anyone in the country. If they don't..... Trouble.
This is why they severely miss Davies, to play in the post, and Loyd, to break down the defense and get easy buckets.
Just imagine if BYU had those 2. Had they played in the SEC and also didn't have an honor code, both those players would probably still be there.

Yea, I usually play down to my opponent. I should bring it every time.... but it's hard to get excited about something that's not a rivalry anymore.
