Rape is a literal physical bodily invasion. Discussion of the rights of ownership of things is not the same as the right of ownership over your own body. Equating marginal tax rates to rape is absurdly offensive.
HP Stock jumped 6.9% on the day she was fired. In essence, the free market valued her leadership at negative six billion dollars.
sorry my beliefs do not line up with yours. i guess we live in fascist society!
wether you take my money and give it to someone who buys an iPhone with it or a lobster meal on food stamps.
or you force yourself on me.
its the same thing. YOU FULFILLING a need at my expense by force.
to me there is no difference
What place in the entire world has an effective tax rate greater than 50% ????
Educate yourself. And stop being so ridiculous.

So much wrong here. First of all, you are stating an opinion. Kicky is staying fact. If you want to compare rape to taxation, learn the difference between the words literal and figurative. Then use the meaning.
Second, there are regulations as to what food stamps can be used for. People on food stamps are not living in the lap of luxury.
When you figure in income, property, federal, and state tax my dad pays pretty much 50% in taxes. I always figure if I'm gonna spend $50, I need to earn $100 to pay for it.

Your dad must either a) make a hell of a lot of money, or b) not take advantage of tax breaks effectively.
Either way, your comment only proves my point that Dutch was wrong about any place taxing 60%
There are a lot of places in the world that people pay a lot of taxes. The us is in the middle to upper range, iirc. Many socialist countries pay a flat 50%, which is pretty much the most of anywhere in the world.
ok how about this, true story! 110% true. probably tl;dr. its a personal story, but it is pretty common around these here parts.
this one night i was getting some take out food, while sitting there waiting for my order. there where 2 other guys friends waiting for their order.
they where talking sadly to say i overheard their whole conversation.
now i will paraphrase/translate the convo.(giving the guys name so easy to follow)
john: so how is the jo hunt going.
peter:exactly like i want it to go.
john: so you got a job congrats!
peter: no i am purposely sabotaging the job aplication proses
john: WHY?
Peter: cus i don't want a job, as it stands now i get 1400 euros a month and all i have to do is send 10 aplications a month. and i keep getting benefit
john: ooh aren't u tired of not working
Peter: hell noo this is the live wake up at noon-ish, play xbox till other get off work, then chill with them, have fun time till at about 3 am then rinse repeat only.
soooo you see the problem that guy was talking about xbox and playstation at home, i saw in his hand an IPHONE a fricking 600-800 dollar phone.
he was living of tax payers money while other where working hard.
i refuse to buy a smartphone a couple of 100 dollars that only last a year or 2. i got a nokia 1100. i work hard.
while this joker does not even TRY. and he is walking around with iphone and pretty well dressed.
well **** you that felt like rape, good thing i am a well tempered guy cus i wanted to kick him in the balls cus it felt like he was raping me!
trust me this story is not an isolated incident. i got friends working at certain departments who see this happen and all they can do is push through the papers.
YES its his right to get 1200-1400 euros a month! taken/stolen by force from others!
to me an iphone is as trivial as sexual urge.
and wether you leech of someone else his hard labor or take someone else without consent for your sexual pleasures. it is the same.
this is to me the god honest truth.
I know your view is different, ok thats your right.
if i am getting a fract for equating socialism to rape just like a did equate a politician with an animal so be it.
i tried to tell this as politically correct as possible. but i have to get used to fascism
AGAIN i am not talking about income tax ONLY! i am talking all taxes in general!
income, carbon tax, property tax, sales tax, alochol tax, tabaco tax
all those are TAXES YOU PAY! and they ADD UP!
Ok, you need to use the word *figuratively* here. Unless you are trying to say he was actually in the act of raping you while he was chatting with his friend.
source cnn and all of other sourcesThis is going to give grammarians a headache, literalists a migraine and language nerds a nervous breakdown.
The definition of literally is no longer the literal definition of literally.
Gizmodo has discovered Google's definition for literally includes this: "Used to acknowledge that something is not literally true but is used for emphasis or to express strong feeling."
But it doesn't end with Google.
Merriam-Wesbter and Cambridge dictionaries have also added the informal, non-literal definition.
AGAINSo am I.
The highest income tax bracket in the United states is 39.6 % and then add in all other taxes, and it won't reach over 50%
You argued that people pay 60% tax. That's a fallacy.
Also, he is not stealing from anyone. If he chooses to use his unemployment benefit that way, he can. Of course, it will run out eventually. I'm not sure how unemployment works in old Zealand, but here in the us, it runs out after so long. It's not an entitlement. It's called unemployment insurance and has a finite resource.

Personal income tax
California collects income tax from its residents at the following rates.
For single and married filing separately taxpayers:
1 percent on the first $7,749 of taxable income.
2 percent on taxable income between $7,750 and $18,371.
4 percent on taxable income between $18,372 and $28,995.
6 percent on taxable income between $28,996 and $40,250.
8 percent on taxable income between $40,251 and $50,869.
9.3 percent on taxable income between $50,870 and 259,844.
10.3 percent on taxable income between $259,845 and 311,812.
11.3 percent on taxable income between $311,813 and $519,687.
12.3 percent on taxable income of $519,688 and above.
A 1 percent surcharge, the Mental Health Services Tax, is collected on taxable incomes of $1 million or more, making California's highest marginal rate 13.3 percent.
For married persons filing joint returns and heads of households, the rates remain the same but the income brackets are doubled.
Residents must complete returns on Form 540 2EZ or Form 540. Nonresidents or part-year residents should file 540NR Short Form or 540NR Long Form. The deadline for all forms is April 15. When that date falls on a weekend or holiday, filers get until the next business day to submit their state returns.
You might be able to file your California return electronically at no cost using CalFile if you meet the program's eligibility requirements.
California's previous free filing option Ready Return has been rolled into CalFile.
