Gordon Hayward Hate chant

Being a baseball fan and following the Red Sox I know what kind of media is in Boston. And knowing what Carl Crawford went thru in Boston. I can only imagine the hell that Hayward is going to face when he goes through his yearly slumps. He's a 3rd go to on a championship team. So the stress from the media alone is going to make him wish he didn't leave. And that is enough to keep me satisfied

Things have changed somewhat in Boston but traditionally speaking their press goes easy on their white sports stars - sorry, but that's just the way it is.

Crawford's meltdown was epic and he never deserved that kind of money in the first place - no way Hayward tanks that bad.

If we beat the Celts (at least at home) next year that will be the vindication I need.

Not me. I want to beat them but I want flagrants when enters the paint. Hope Rudy and Ingles make him pay a little. Guess maybe I'm a little more old school? Think The bad boy pistons. Earn anything he gets.

My comments was more towards the **** you and bitch stuff, more so than booing.

Kanter deserved to boos because of what he said about the team. Gordon not so much.

I absolutely disagree. IMO Hayward knew he was leaving. Yet he dragged this out and played the Jazz and their fan base. Costing the Jazz chances to go after the better free agents.

Then when it did get leaked he denied it simply to finish his dear john letter. Further dragging it out only to drop the bomb on the Jazz and their fans all over again.

He handled this terrible. At least Kanter was a man about it. Even if he did say bad things about the FO, fans, team... at least he owned it.

This. Who would have thought CP3 would leave with more class. Hay could have left on much better terms here. He basically screwed himself for future ties with the organization. I dont think we'll ever forgive him.

GOrGone Coward.

In Greek mythology, a Gorgon (/ˈɡɔːrɡən/; plural: Gorgons, Ancient Greek: Γοργών/Γοργώ Gorgon/Gorgo) is a female creature. The name derives from the ancient Greek word gorgós, which means "dreadful", and appears to come from the same root as the Sanskrit word "garğ" which is defined as a guttural sound, similar to the growling of a beast,[1] thus possibly originating as an onomatopoeia. While descriptions of Gorgons vary across Greek literature and occur in the earliest examples of Greek literature, the term commonly refers to any of three sisters who had hair made of living, venomous snakes, as well as a horrifying visage that turned those who beheld her to stone. Traditionally, while two of the Gorgons were immortal, Stheno and Euryale, their sister Medusa was not, and she was slain by the demigod and hero Perseus.

Hayward is a selfish Coward and he is gone. Of the gorgons he is most like Medusa. Known for is hair He is a venomous snake. He had the chance to be immortal in Utah but will now be slain by LeBron or Seth. Why couldn't he stay and recruit a third star.

Ideally, as I said in the #stayward thread, I would like the arena to go completely silent, deafening silence and everyone turns their back to which will than show #COWARD. After that move on and treat it as any other game like he wasn't even playing.

Lilly white *** racist

Have fun have fun have fun
Gittin drunk an race bashin with your Irish catholic sons

I truly believe he will regret his decision down the line.

Boston may not be as green as he thinks it will be...
I doubt it.

The truth hurts but Boston is the better situation for him in the next 3 years to get to the Finals. He had no shot at winning a ring on either team so he opted for the next best thing, just getting to the finals.

There's more to this thinking than just how the Celtics do. The entire way they run things might not be his cup of tea. Living in liberal Boston might not be their bag either. The only sure fire thing for him there is the coach.

It won't happen BUT if some scenario happened that caused Brad Stevens to go IND and coach the Pacers, that would seem fitting to me.

Look, I hope Lebron crushes him too, but its a damn good team to be on. Lebron is rumored to be leaving soon though.

We can laugh at Ainge and him not spending assets, but he can always spend them tomorrow.

I'm not questioning the good position the Celtics are in. My point was that sometimes people go to a new situation and find it wasnt what
they wanted. The grass isnt always greener. He is a family man, and more factors play into his happiness. His wife and kids have to love it there too.

I am now a believer that Gordon will never regret leaving because he clearly did not want to be here. I don't even think he was going to stay if the Jazz had a clear path to the finals. After a few years of working with the same employer it is pretty common to get the itch to leave.

This would be great. Never happen though.

Good point. I never felt his heart was here. He didnt hate Utah, but his actions have shown us his truly feelings. Had he signed one more deal he would have been a Jazz lifer with possible number retiring, fan favorite, etc. He didnt want that.
