What's new

Gordon Hayward's Starcraft 2 LiveStream

He just said he's putting on 20 lbs of muscle this summer, 2 workouts a day.

I feel like a stalker.

So true. And don't forget when it broke that AK played Warcraft it was only more proof he wasn't committed. When players enjoy their lives the 'wrong' way, everyone gets all hot and bothered.

There's playing a game, and there's getting worse in your prime and your first tattoo being a massive back-piece of a video game character.

Edit: AFTER getting his big contract, of course. And AFTER that life-ruining game came out (they aren't all life-ruiners).

I've only watched this stream for 5 minutes and feel unbelievably nerdy just watching. Also learned he likes to say "fudge" as his replacement word for ****. Very revealing.

As a Playstation Gamer and Jazz fan this was amusing to keep on the side window. At the end he said I cant play another, I have a workout tomorrow. Nor can I tomorrow. His tweets have read something along the lines "Not going to get better without practice. At so and so gym/training." He seems dedicated to put on this weight this offseason. Im ****ing stoked.

Won't happen when keep playing online overnight

Assumptions; earlier in the cast (when i was watching) said he had 2 workouts during the day. Let the man take a load off without making too much out of it.

Though after reading that starcraft message board I kind of feel weird about defending some dude I don't know to some other dude I don't know for no apparent reason.

Gaining weight has more to do with proper regime including 10+ hours of regular sleep than how many times you actually go to the gym.

More? No. I'd say both diet and time spent at the gym are more important than sleep, however, sleep is still important. 10 hours is a lot. 10+ is too much.

We are talking 10 pounds of muscles in 3 months here. That's 2 months of gaining weight and 1 month of stripping fat. First phase requires at least 9 hours of sleep, second even more of the same. I saw plenty of athletes who hit ceiling or plateau because they hadn't had enough of sleep. Assuming his workout's including plenty of aerobic exercises it's not feasible to gain weight without a lot of sleep unless he is some kind of a nature freak.
