Gordon on moving to Celtics

Who is this person you are talking about and why should Jazz fans care? We don't care we have moved on regarding that guy who went to Boston.

Already a thread over in general. No one cares about the dude anymore. I liked the Trib's swing at it. Spent about a minute of reading time glossing over to report the end message.

Ha on this last thread about him. This place will never let it go. Ya!l would root for the warriors over the celtic s because that's how hurt y'all are. This board is like the boyfriend who gets dumped and can't let it go and name call the ex all the time she has over on to a better person and situation and that eats at you even more because you know you was never good enough so you pay her back by calling g her names and being a jerk if you ever see her in public even though she wishes you the best of luck and wants you to be happy like she is now this fan base is the whinest of all the other NBA fan bases by far,not even close. Hayward will get bashed on from people here in ten years still

Just more truth to this:

Then what does that make you in this situation?

Hayworth less just full on admitted he took the easy way out. He's a ***** plain and simple.

So wouldn't staying on Utah be an easier way out than going to the Suns or Kings? If he was a real man he would have gone to the Kings and won there, right?

I actually respect him more for admitting that the West being loaded played into his decision.

Makes sense, and you can't knock a dude for telling the truth.

"The feeling of putting on a Boston Celtics uniform and competing for a title outweighed everything else for me.”

All I needed to hear.

Woj is soft! Didn't ask any tough questions, sounded as if his manager scripted all the questions... maybe still in PR damage control??

Didn't speak fondly or warmly of Utah AT ALL.

If the truth is totally "knockable" then you can.

What's knockable about it?

You can't deny the appeal of a clear path to multiple all-star appearances and multiple deep playoff runs. Call it taking the easy way out or running away from a challenge if you want - but, in real life, people regularly switch jobs if the outlook for promotion and progression isn't as certain with their current company as it would be with another. Are they running away from a challenge?

Hayward's legacy in Boston probably won't touch what it could've been in Utah, but maybe that wasn't what motivated him anyway. I think the average sports fan unfairly judges most athletes, and pushes THEIR motivation onto them.

Breh you're better than that. That's a straw man if I ever did see one.
