Grad School

Dude, the University of Phoenix has some great programs! That's where Craig1221 met his current hottie!

I'm pretty sure he meant the U of U.
He is a basketball guy after all.
Hey.... this just may work out for the U.
Archie, do you have any sports eligibility left?

If so, here's an email address

I went back for my Masters and it was a good experience. I appreciated my education more than before I started working professionally. It didn't make a significant impact on my salary in that position at my employer, but it has opened up more advancement potential and made me more marketable to outside firms.

Got out of highschool and never looked back. Taco Bell has worked out great!

Same here. I was so excited to GTFO of school that I got myself suspended the last week of my senior year. I am a proud SLCC drop out, baby.

In hindsight, I really wish I would have made an effort -- not because of work, but just because I feel like I'm a hell of a lot dumber than everyone around me. (except around here, you guys are all dumber than doorknobs)

I went back to get my Masters of Education from Weber State, but that was a no brainer for me. A masters teachers makes 15,000 more per year, and I use the exact same lesson plans as before. Same job, better money.

Isn't that weird? My best friend was teaching math at Skyline and pretty much did the exact same thing. He admitted that it was a load of crap, but just like you (and all of us) why not? Why teachers aren't paid more to start with is ridiculous. Cops and teachers are two of the most underpaid/underappreciated fields in America.

Hey Archie, how is your son doing, my friend? Have you two started to balling together yet? Can he say heeepepepcpcepce just as good as you do? (Yeah, I can't say it like you)

For your OP, I have nothing to add here to this wonderful thread, I am sure you and your family will make the best decision, good luck, man!

Teachers are paid very well for 9 months of work, and they are one of the most prestigious professions in America.

Growing up with a parent being a teacher and later a high school principal, I'd have to disagree with you there. Perhaps some of the teachers here can weigh in on this?
