Greatest Prince Album

Multiple and they are on my phone. "Controversy", "Dirty Mind", "1999", "Purple Rain", "Sign O the Times", "Musicology", and a some songs from his hits compilations.
Prince was a huge part of my listening during the 80's and I would put "Purple Rain" in the top 20-30 albums of all time. It's a perfect album where every song is great.

I think this is true. Everytime a celebrity dies all of a sudden it seems like he/she was everyones favorite musician/actor/athlete. I keep hearing about how 2016 is so horrible for taking all of these amazing people... Google celebrity deaths from any year and you will find lots of them. Next year there will be more. People die all the time and celebrities are people so this is going to be a regular thing until the end of time.
It's not just the physical deaths. KOBE, Bro, KOBE! And Peyton Manning man. And Bruce Jenner man, they all died last year.
I'm srs on Ozzy standby watch. Now that the only musician in the world better than him besides Carlos Santana is dead is he going to just give up and go lie in his grave?

The super bowl half times show in the rain was pretty sweet. I was never a big prince fan but he sure put on a helluva performance.

Honestly I've never gotten past what is played on the radio with Prince. Give me a couple songs to check out.
You could do worse than getting The Hits/The B-Sides, a 3 disc set from '93. It doesn't have the last 2 decades, but it definitely covers his most successful periods. As for later stuff, I'd say get the album Musicology, and I really enjoyed PLECTRUMELECTRUM from a couple of years ago.
Specific tracks? Geez. OK. I'll list Track - Album, and I'll put a * next to the ones that might be offensive to those who don't like blatant sexuality. I'm just scrolling thru the albums, so they'll be in alphabetical order by album. I'm not going to bother listing anything from Purple Rain, because every track is amazing.
