That's true. And again I hope he checks out.
He has, dude. They already did physicals and Kanter is fine.
Kanter scares the hell out of me, but there's obviously something to like there on paper.
That's true. And again I hope he checks out.
Great point. And as we all know the Jazz are a risk averse franchise (minus the DWill trade). I think they're going to play it safe and forfeit their picks. They might not get anyone, but sometimes the risk is just too great.
Definitely think AK Is gone. I don't have the exact quote, but in past interviews Greg has talked about his frustration over some AK's injuries he thought were less severe and it's taken AK a lot of time to come back. Okur is completely different. That was a horrific injury. I think Okur might be done, but not because the Jazz don't want him back. I just don't see Memo at his age recovering and getting back in basketball shape.I read it as AK is gone and hopefully Memo's dead weight too.
My son is a teenager and his knees hurt sometimes. He must have bad knees, like Kanter. Or he's a teenager who sometimes have hurty knees...
On Greg Miller's quote... I haven't quite figured him out. I don't know to take his comments very litterally, or more like "coach speak" (of which KOC is master.) So it is possible he is saying (or tryting to say) "ya we have to get more athletic, and we have to work hard, and have less injuries." Or really does he mean - man i'm done with AK. Or does he mean "i need to lower AK's $value a bit so i can sign him back cheaper." And also what really is the prescription or business plan for "get more durable?" (Other than dumping AK?) Only thick draft picks? We're tradin' for Big Baby Davis?
