Greg Miller home video - 88 jazz locker room

maybe the nab should go to these primitve locker rooms.
quality of basketball was better.

the way the locker room today are build are fit for a king.
the locker rooms are more luxurious than the avg persons livingroom.

with these lockerrooms the lockout would have been prevented:D.
no luxury no greed

The old NBA, where crappy locker rooms and love for the game and not money happened.

Those are the locker rooms in the old Great Western Forum?

Was that Bobby Hansen or Jim Les doing ....stretching? ....on the bench? The dude taping up the ankles on the right hand side looks alot like KOC, and I swear that was DJ (David James of local tv fame) bringing towels into the locker room.

I think Bobby was hoping for some lovin' there. Interesting to see David James come in with towels and instantly start wiping some guys ***, then pretends he was just helping him hike up his shorts. Yeah, right. And I am amazed how skinny Malone was compared to his late 90's years. I guess it is possible for people to change who they are as a player after college. Maybe Hayward is not going to forever be as useless as some may claim.

Amazing what years of *** kissing did for David James.

that's about what the visitor locker room looks like at ESA. teams have severaly reinvested in their OWN locker rooms, but what you're seeing in that video is probably pretty representative of the broom closets that home teams stick their opponents in. anything for a competitive edge.

Except Cuban went the opposite route. The Visitor's locker room is a palace because he wants every player going through Dallas to have it in his mind he wants to play there. That's the way to do it.

i guess, but isn't that counterintuitive? "look at how amazing this visitor's locker room is. come play here so that you never have to set foot in this room again."

I thought he was making it so nice they would be soft before the game, and lose.
Instead of getting fired up and ready, they would be living in luxury and have no desire to go out for the game.

Skinny? He was lean, but he was never a toothpick like Hayward.

Quality of basketball was better because the league was designed around contact. Now there's no hand-checking, and a limp wrist like Nowitzki can get 26 FTs in a single playoff game from guys playing the "duck and cover" defense. All the while, an idiot like Jeff Van Gundy will be telling you about how much more "physical" the playoffs are; well, when he isn't pitching Hanna Montana items for ESPN/ABC/Disney.

All-Star games from the 80s/90s had more intensity than a Finals game today.

As I said, compared to what he became in the late 90's, he was skinny in that video. Kind of makes you think of Captain America. Gets me all choked up.

Ooooh say can you seeeeeeeeee....*sniffle*

There is a lot of truth in this. The NBA has become pretty wussy in terms of contact and physical play.
