GSW Draft Pick Watch

That would be a dream come true
And the Jazz aren't even done tanking yet!

I am not for tanking. I am for going wherever the young guns take us. if that is the lottery then so be it. Problem is that they (except Hayward) are not getting enough time.

I'm good with 7 & 8, but we will have to lose more games for that to happen.
If we're not going to make the playoffs, lets get a better pick... of course while we "try" to win and play the young guys.

That was a tweet from Draftexpress about him. 12.1% body fat isn't skinny, but it isn't fat. I would assume it has gone down from that since we are halfway through the season.

For Joe plumber that's not fat. For a practically professional athlete, that's pretty awful.

It's worth considering that maybe it's for the best that the Jazz might only get one pick next year. Maybe in a year or two there will be a PG worth a **** as a prospect, or maybe a new need crops up with more certainty (say, one of The Four's progress stalls and/or basically busts).

Even better yet . . . how about our pick wins the lottery and is #1 and then Golden State's pick ends up at #8? But I'm not greedy :)

The Jazz are going to tank because they're going to try to win.

By "try to win" I mean Ty will play his vets more. Which means:
Al and Sap big minutes
CJ + Howard bench time
and Harris running the point at the 3 minute mark at the 4th on close games.

More then likely but that is a shame. I want them going into the draft knowing exactly what they have and not what they might have. That could dramtically change what they are after.

Let's just hope other teams start tanking to get a better pick as the season starts winding down.

This.

At this point, I don't think there is any doubt GS is going to tank to try and keep their pick. Luckily for us, they are going to have to out-tank a bunch of other teams.

Today is a black day for this draft pick.

Jazz lose, Sacto wins, GS loses very bad.
The Jazz are tanking much worse than I thought they would.

On a positive note, Jazz are only a game ahead of the W's. Wouldn't it be absolutely side-splitting hilarious if Utah finished 7th, and by doing so, made GS finish 8th?

At this point I see the Jazz finishing with a worse record than the GSW. I have thought that it was going to happen all season but when the Jazz started so hot I thought that maybe they had a chance.

Also, GSW didn't have Curry tonight. That makes a huge difference for that team.

Huge road win for Golden State over Atlanta. They win in a defensive struggle 85-82.
Actually the game was eeringly similar to Utah-Sacramento. Warriors hit 16-17 FT's in the win. The Hawks went 16-26 (61%). Yes, FT shooting wins and loses games. Ya hear that Corbin and Jazz players? Practice yer damn FT's!
