I can't see why we'd trade the pick if we get it this year, unless they give us 2 future #1's, which I doubt they'd do. As Numerica suggested, it's far more likely to happen if we DON'T get the pick this year.
I'm just noticing that GS management is looking really desperate AND Curry would be awesome @ PG in Utah IF he can be healthy. That's the million dollar draft pick question. Jazz are probably looking to grab a PG with their second pick anyway and, again IF Curry will be healthy going forward, I like him better than what the draft has to offer with that second lottery pick.
I'm not saying do it. I don't have that power, friends. But if health concerns prove to be a thing of the past for Curry then perhaps the options for the Jazz at PG are one of either Lillard, Marshall, or Curry. Who would you pick?
I'd definitely go with Curry. Then you draft BPA with the second lottery pick.
They can have both picks for Curry as far as I'm concerned. But they might go for just theirs.
IMO Curry would be a lot better here. I like Rondo better but Curry is like an opposite angle 2nd choice. Burks and Hayward can shoot and handle the ball. So can Millsap. Have to wonder if with our inside-outside game Curry could be a better option.
Tough but in a vacuum I still take Rondo. Even if Curry is perfectly healthy and durable.

Ok, but I'd give them the second lottery pick for Curry. They're desperate.
That's exactly why we WOULDN'T have to give them the other lottery pick.
I'm hoping GS can't tank hard enough and we end up doing this:
Utah sends:
Pick
Memo TPE
Utah gets:
Steph Curry
and if we make the playoffs that's it, if we don't we draft Tony Mitchell or CJ Leslie or someone at 15-16.
Best trade idea I've seen on Jazzfanz.
Not sure if the TPE works like that...CBA = too complicated
Curry would look great sitting in a suit for us.
