What's new

GT: Jazz at Grizzlies 6:00 MST

I know. Me and stitches were making fun of the Kanter fan who said it back on page 8.

Well sorry then. I was just shocked that someone would actually claim that D is Gobert's weakness.

I know Gasol got 24/12, but he did so on 22 shots. All the bigs played VERY well. That Kanter block at the end of the 3rd period was bawse!
I have to laugh because I KNEW someone would read the boxscore, see Gobert only scored 2 pts and call him next to worthless. He changed so many shots. And 4 players with 4 assists; that's sharing the ball!

Even though I'm wanting a pick in the 5-8 range, I was hoping the Jazz would hang on for the win. This does wonders for their confidence.

EDIT: Oh, I see Spinoza was joking. Sorry, I take back all the 4-letter words I was using after reading your post.

Carter to Exum: welcome to school, rookie! That was a great move by VC. He left Dante grasping at air as he went by him for the dunk.

That's all you aim for bud? I want the #1 pick every single year, that should get them rings comin'!

BTW our next game is vs the 76ers @ESA. Next winning streak is starting and it will be our 10th W. Suck it tankers :p Love y'all and love my Jazz! Woot woot...

I've been told that Spinoza was kidding. In that case, I profusely apologize. Once I confirm, I'll get give you a couple of pos reps to make up for it.
Ya he was kidding

Of course I want the Jazz to get lucky; just like I want to get lucky. But we ain't the Cavs. I was thinking we had a legit shot at a starting-quality player in the 5-8 range. Jazz keep improving like this and they may pass up everyone except the 9-10 seeds in the WC. I could see them end up with a #12 pick.

I seriously don't mind. I knew you missed reading turkishdelight's comment back on page 8 and I was just having fun messing with you.

Regarding the game, I was surprised tonight by how comfortable I was with Burke in there in the 4th. Didn't see the rest of the game, and it looks like Conley went off on him. But still, I was impressed with his decision-making at the end.

It was more about miscommunication. They were getting back in transition and Burks(I think, not sure) wasn't back yet, while his man Vince got the ball. You can see Rudy pointing Dante to Vince just a moment before he exploded to the rim. He was telling him to switch to Vince, but before he could Vince was already gone...

Nothing gives me a shower boner quicker than a kanter three pointer

At one point late in the fourth quarter 4 out of the 5 starters had each taken 11 shots. It is really impressive to me that everyone gets a chance to shine on this team. Can you imagine the lakers actually sharing the ball. The other night Kobe was 8-30. Unlike the Lakers the Jazz seem to be figuring out how to play team ball.

Let's just pretend that my outburst never happened then.

/walks away whistling innocently.
You are one of the best posters on this site imho. It's forgotten

My highly sophisticated sarcasm mechanism must be broken. How about this: I DON'T GIVE A <BLEEP> ABOUT THE TANK

And BTW, Karl Malone (13th pick), John Stockton (16th pick), the 2 guys for which many of us are here in the 1st place.

He's got the highest blocking rate in the NBA. When he's in the game, opponent FG% at the rim drops to 40%. All the best defensive line-ups for the team involve him. Really guy, this got to be the stupidest mother****ing comment I've ever read on this site. Congrats, it's really an accomplishment.

it was almost as bad as somebody saying booker is an elite freak athlete

over the great gobert euro step?
Yep.
As far as players on the team, everyone knows burks is #1. Rudy is second..... so you know I love all things gobert.

But when kanter hits a three it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. (Along with the whiskey)

Be careful, Freak will neg you for rooting for your team.
