he's killing it because Mo simply cannot guard him. He either is drawing help, or getting clean looks at the bucket every time.

This is a game where the 3-wing will be used a ton, because of Mo's defense

I have just noticed that he has played better with the starters all year long including pre season.

I think when he plays with the starters he becomes more versatile offensively. With the bench guys he just attacks the rim and nothing else.
With the starters he plays better without the ball, becomes a much better distributor, shoots more (and better) from outside, and picks his spots to attack much better.

I know you have not been able to watch as many games as you would like to so you might not have had the chance to notice the big difference
