GT: Jazz @ Cavs 11/10/15 5pm MST

Not blaming the refs but they were really hard on Favors tonight. Stupid calls also like that travelling on Burks. I was watching the Cleveland feed and had to mute it at times. Our Jazz commentators aren't as bias as those guys wow!

The Cavs announcers are hilariously bipolar. Fine when the team is bad (Lebron Heat years), and awful when they are good.

Locke and Boone were talking about how the officiating was just all-around pretty bad. The crew was off. There was some sort of new ref or sub ref and it was messing up the whole job they said.

"not blaming the refs" then went on blaming the refs ..

I'll blame the refs. Favs got murdered... They'd only call it super late when he missed. Rudy wasn't great tonight. At least twice he failed to contest dellavadova drives. I think he needs to step up a bit earlier.

Good game. We made them earn it. Effing mo Williams.

Jazz should be sitting at 6-1 right now. They are young and need to learn how to finish games. Gave away the one tonight and against the Pistons. Hopefully they get better at that as the season goes on.

Absolutely. They will learn from this. Maybe in the long run a loss like this is better than a win.

It's not really a mystery why we lost that game. We got Lebron'd. We can talk about officiating, or our guys underperforming or whatever. Fundamentally, they had Lebron and we didn't.

That's nothing to be ashamed of. Even the Warriors got Lebron'd twice in the finals last year. This probably isn't the last time we get Lebron'd. It's just a thing that's gonna happen sometimes.

Yeah, I don't. His replacement would be Kyrie Irving and he would still play. Maybe 5-10 minutes less. He would get backup 2 guard minutes and as well as PG. It's a dumb thing to say, sorry. Irving has toasted the Jazz.

From an offensive efficiency standpoint, the Cavs already had about as good of a game as you can have in this league. You seem to be under this weird notion that either

A) Kyrie Irving would have only taken shots away from players that aren't LeBron/Mo. Essentially you are assuming Mo and LeBron would've had exactly the same production, simply replacing other guy's production with Kyrie's. Unfortunately for this option, as the last several years of superteam formations have already taught us, it doesn't work this way at all.

or

B) Kyrie would have taken shots away from LeBron/Mo, but it is for granted that he would have scored at the same superhuman efficiency as LeBron or Mo had done this game. Which, even if he did torch us, would've still been unlikely.

I'm not really sure what else to add to this. Both of the above options are a bit silly, but I get the vibe that you are arguing purely for the sake of arguing.

Wow what a game! I was sitting here watching it and said so many bad words about the refs and commentators, that my wife was giving me the eye. So proud of how the Jazz played!

As others have said, a great game. Seeing it's a holiday in Europe today, i stayed up to watch the game, well worth it. A few observations :
- Lebron is damn good, one of the most clever running backs in the game. As someone said, we got lebroned and that happens a lot in this league.
- This Cavs team is clever, well coached and experience. They are one of the teams that best played Gobert this year, never letting him know quite when they were attacking the rim or passing it just before. He didn't know what to do a lot of times, must have been frustrating but a valuable experience.
- Favors is just plain solid
- Hayward still looking for that rythm, part of me thinks that the comeback of Burks and better play from Burke has thrown him off a bit, he just doesn't quite know if he should take over, share the ball, wait for it, etc..
- the Bees are doing great, very happy for Burks and also for Burke who will never be a great PG with such atrocious defense but who is doing a good job as a combo guard, which should be his future in the league.
- Finally I hope Gobert's ankle will be ok.

Maybe it's Coach Q deflecting, but this quote is fantastic:

Dark Lord Snyder said:
Utah has the fourth-youngest roster in the league, prompting coach Quin Snyder to laugh when he was asked if the Cavaliers provide a measuring stick. "We're too young to even have a measuring stick," he said. "We're still in the phase where you measure yourself against a wall in your house, then mark it down."
