this win is a serious blow to our tank.
Good to see us finally snap this skid.
this win is a serious blow to our tank.
Nobody's tanking here.
someone should.
It is with immense pleasure that I present to you our favorite pigeon newly soiled with a lily white piece of poop!

Here's hoping there are soon many more to follow.
Tanking is for management. The coach and players are always going to try to win games, and if you ask me, making the playoffs would be more valuable to this team than tanking to get a few more ping pong balls.
I don't find getting swept by GSW all that valuable.
Even if that's what happens, getting to the playoffs is way more valuable than getting a pick two or three spots earlier. If the Jazz win even one playoff game, though, it will be a great step in their progression. The playoffs are so much fun!I don't find getting swept by GSW all that valuable.

That will make it even sweeter. We are 1-9 against the top 4 of West. I doubt any win is coming.
Fine, I'm anti-tanking so we're not gonna get anywhere, enjoy lamenting tonight's win.

IAWTP, but I don't understand what your saying about 10th vs 26th. It's more like 10th vs 14th or something. Others know more about how this draft is likely to play out than I do, but I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the chances are fair that we'd end up with the same player with either of those picks.Narrow perspective. Being in a race to get into playoffs and overcoming obstacles, winning games that matter, building confidence, playing on natl tv with playoff atmosphere, playing under heightened pressure, in a more half court game with higher defensive intensity, etc. these are all experiences we need to build upon.
Compared that to the probability that a 10th pick is better than a 26th pick.
No contest.
