1. Lakers (No reason they shouldn't be the top team)
2. Jazz
3. Mavs (Could be 2,but Kidd,Marion and Dirk are getting older)
4. Thunder (Year of experience will help but still need big men. Don't think Mullens is the answer and Aldrich will be a rookie)
5. Suns (Losing your pick and roll man and go to guy will be huge. They did add Childress,Turkoglu and Warrick so they shouldnt lose to much.)
6. Houston (If yao is healthy this team could be scary-Brooks,Scola,Yao,Battier and Ariza)
7. Nuggets (All big guys are coming off injuries and Billups is older)
8. Spurs (Everyone is older and might lose Jeffeson. They did get Splitter but who knows how he turns out)
Its really tough. If the Jazz added any of the 3 above they would contend for the 2nd seed. Why? They got a physical big man now and have more length. AK is playing for contract and I believe he may be the difference between a 2 seed and 5-6 seed. Add Miles who is getting better every year and the best point in the league. Then you could have an amazing bench with guys like Brown,Barnes and Tolliver. Then comes in Milsap who is capable of putting up 16 and 10 and 2 at the PF spot. Then when Okur is healthy he adds 3 point shooting and stretches the D. Then you have Hayward who could have a Korver type of impact. Knock down some shots but we he adds is ball handling and could take some pressure off D Will. Then we need more size,defense,toughness you bring in Big Fes
What's not to love about the Jazz IF they got any of the 3. They have improved defense,bench and size to compete with about every team
