Lulz. Marcin Gortat??? He's in the neighborhood skillwise of Elson and Fes, and he's making 2x-3x more than both of them combined. And you give up Okur, who is an underwhelming defender but at least brings something different to the court (a trey) than a third KF / FE clone. Heck, they are all even overseas players (as is Pietrus)! Pietrus would actually be the more beneficial part of your hypothetical deal to possible shore up the wing.

Bias aside, I'll take Fes's 6.3PP30, 7.7 RP30, and 1.1 BP30 for the QO over MG's 7.6 PP30, 8.9 RP30, and 1.6 BP30 for $6.3 million. And rising.

I could be wrong but I don't think you can include a player with the exception. Unless the player fits for the exception and the player included within the exception is just a throw in(like Koufos was). So this trade would not work.
