Has Any Athlete Ever Had A Worse Year Than Rudy?

Back in '94 OJ had a pretty bad year. Lost his wife, a waiter at one of his favorite restaurants lost his life, his white Bronco lost all power and couldn't go more than 25 MPH....bad year. Buy not as bad as Rudy Gobert's:

1. Rudy becomes Typhoid Mary of covid and spreads the disease in America. Because of Rudy, NBA, all sports, all restaurants, everything is shut down on March 11th

2. Rudy leads his team to a first place seed in NBA, best record in NBA...and then gets manhandled and humiliated in the playoffs and can't even get his number 1 team past the second round. Terrance Mann proved he is the superior basketball player over Rudy Gobert.

3. Rudy's French team makes it to the gold medal game of Tokyo Olympics...and Rudy makes France lose because he goes something like 0 for 35 from the free throw line.

The single worst year for any athlete. And next year will probably be more humiliating for Rudy. Why do you want Rudy Gobert on your team?

He’s a born loser. Hope Hassan steals his minutes

Thanks for that, you really know how to spin a yarn, lol.
I'd say Roberto Clemente had a worse year in 1972
it’s a joke guys, please don’t encourage him.

Pretty much just every Knicks player in the last 20 years. But other than all of them, no.
This, Knicks would kill to have a stud like Gobert on the roster.
In answer to the original question regarding who in sports has had the worst year, my first thought was Kemba Walker. He was run out of Boston after the shakeup he precipitated, not even considered for the National Olympic team and worst of all, stuck with you losers next season, OUCH!!!!!

Is Gobert suppose to make all his FTs?

He makes 3 more he hits his NBA average and they still lose. Their dumbass coach took Rudy out for too long

Considering Rudy had a better year than 99.999999 percent of all athletes worldwide, yes, there are many that had a “worse” year this very year.

All Star, All NBA, DPOY, Silver medal in Tokyo.

What did you do this year?

1. I didn't breathe on and touch microphones and become the Typhoid Mary of covid. Donovan Mitchell still won't talk to him.
2. I didn't get outclassed by a D-League nobody named Terance Mann.
3. I didn't go 0 for 35 with free throws in a gold medal game.

All in all, that's a better year than Gobert.

1. Typhoid Mary was notoriously immune to the disease. That was kind of the whole point. Perhaps you need to educate yourself and stop relying on clichés?
2. Neither did Rudy. He just showed that he is unable to defend the entire opposing team at the same time across the entire court.
3. So, how did you do in your gold medal game? C'mon, post your stat line.

How is it possible that the Jazzfanz powers that be haven’t banned this clown yet?

It’s the same schtick every time and probably the worst thing about it is that it’s never original and/or funny.

This guy seems to have an all access pass to troll just for the sake of trolling.

Typhoid Mary also wasn't a seven foot center who can't hit free throws. Uhh, you don't realize that you can make comparisons with others that aren't exact matches?
